From a made up non-quote headline on Sky Sports. It's 2024 and I'm stunned people aren't wise to this rubbish.
-
"Said to have been" is very different to "Steve Cooper said", it's journo made up rubbish.
-
You could be right, but it could also be the case that they've "parted company" suddenly after things came to a head on Saturday, Cooper was not happy with the situation either. History would suggest they will now be scratching around for weeks. The only hope that they have a replacement in place is Cooper's team leaving at the same time. As you say, this week will show how competent they are.

Rudkin next please

Well done guys. To anyone that doesn't like it FU.

We regularly buy £5m players for £25m so the chances are he was going to be rubbish.

Safe standing - time to act

I don't care if I have to move. They've shown they don't care about upsetting our supporters over digital tickets, so just get on with it. -
Why does anyone think that the current setup is capable of appointing someone much better than Steve Cooper when they appointed Steve Cooper 4 months ago?

Another progressive club who understand fan culture. We really are getting left behind. Stuck in 2016. -

Just wondering why we have a recruitment team and director of football if it can be completely bypassed by the manager? -
I'm not sure it's something they want to advertise after forcing this system on us😂

3 of the people I go with say theirs is still showing Everton. Mine included.

I noticed he gave Faes a verbal kicking after his mistake when Watkins almost scored.

He's not rated by the manager or some of the players.

Will Alves signs new deal until 2028!

Totally agree, there is no way we should be trying out players with zero experience in the premier league, and somehow expecting they will by some miracle help the cause in keeping us up. As seen in the statements by Iverson, the loans just don't seem to happen and again this is ultimately the responsibility of Mr Rudkin, he has the final say. -
I like the line about "elephant in the room" being the points deduction, seemingly not the total mess of our own making that the club has become😂
-
Absolute utter delusion over where we are as a club. I think you'll find that Cooper was one of the few that would take the job on. This club is in a huge mess because of the way it is run. Bargain basement players, bargain basement manager, and the same can be said of those running the show. Those managers were never coming here, it's not 2018.

Even though I'm a huge fan of Mavididi I thought Bob was very good tonight. Very impressed, he was like having an extra captain out there directing matters and encouraging other players after that tough first half. -
Honestly flags to replace last seasons dishonesty flags😂

Concerns about the direction of the club
Vestan Pance replied to Lambert09's topic in Leicester City Forum
In the past 10 years we've received over £500m in transfer fees and King Power has written off debts on two occasions to the tune of £250m+ After all of that we've finished up with a playing staff that has very few saleable assets. There is no doubt that the club is badly run and has no chance of ever balancing the books and being competitive within PSR unless Top gets a grip and the club is radically reformed. -
Jordan Ayew (interest confirmed by Percy)

We did cheat when we broke the rules and still got relegated. That's how badly run this club is😂

Nice sentiment. By the way, it's been the Premier League not "The Premiership" for a very long time now. -
Totally agree. Nothing wrong with free signings in our situation. I just expected us to show a bit more imagination than signing two that were under our noses that clearly no other club had offered a decent deal to. We've learnt nothing from being stuck with un-transferable players for years on end, the cycle continues.

Re-signing Vestergaard and Ndidi was the realisation for me that nothing has changed within the club, why would it I suppose if the decision makers remain the same! I expect very little from the season.
