Yeah I'd heard that they something like £179million. They basically pulled out the credit card. They've got to pay it all back sometime, so could find themselves in some financial hot water.

EFL Champions 3 - 0 Preston North End post-match thread

He must have been feeling some sort of Harry Kane/Spurs curse a few weeks ago 😂 -

No team has ever failed to win automatic promotion from the championship with 90+ points 2023/24 season - "hold my beer" Just goes to show the level of this season and the accomplishment can't be ignored considering the changes we went through in the summer, starting with what was nothing short of a disastrous pre season trip

I bloody hope not, it's not even got our badge on it

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Jimbo replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
That can't happen, but if we come straight back down I don't see why they can't retrospectively impose any points deductions like the premier league are going to do -
Who would you rather went up with us automatically?
Jimbo replied to Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot's topic in Leicester City Forum
Ipswich automatically and then whoever beats Leeds with a 98th minute winner in the playoff final -
HMS piss the league making a bigger come back than if the Titanic was to suddenly roll into New York

Pretty poor draw for all the "smaller" clubs. Leeds have started pretty well though, so there's a chance that a championship club gets a semi final

So, still hypothetically, but say Leeds and Southampton catch us, we end up in the playoffs and don't go up.... Those of you against VAR? You still going to be dead against it? With it, we're 2-0 up and we see that game out. Robbed by shite officiating initially, poor finishing 2nd and a weak mentality 3rd. Squeaky bum time now for the next few weeks

It was an error, he scuffed it, it went nowhere near where it was supposed to go. If we cut "that stuff" out of our game, then Ricardo's goal doesn't get scored. Errors happen, and they've been few and far between to be fair, even if it does feel far more edgy far too often at times. But we can't jump on them when they do, it's our game and that's the way we play

Just worked out (so maybe I'm wrong, but I think I'm correct) we're the only team from either the Premier League, Championship, League 1 or League 2 that is mathematically safe from relegation *Edit, barring any fixtures match ups that I just can't be bothered to sit and work out, that may see another team or 2 being mathematically safe 😂😂

Surely just an Italian flag with the message of "The Enzo way"

He's not had the best of experiences against us this season. Played us twice with 2 different teams, conceded 9 goals

Leicester vs Birmingham - FA Cup - Match Thread

He's in my squad 😁 -
You would be fuming, but you'd be wrong. Whether or not you win the ball, if your taking someone out, studs up at thigh height, then it's a foul.
-
Ref is going to lose this one. Mavididi is close to losing his head as is Palmer for them. That red could boil over, it's never a red, never has been a red, so don't know what he's seeing there. If that's a red then both teams should be down to 10, KDH was taken out closer to his cock than he was his feet for the penalty. Big team talk coming up at half time from Enzo to keep a lid on things and make sure it's not us that blinks 1st in terms of losing our heads. Could be argued that Cov were the better side in the 1st half, they obviously had a game plan to disrupt us as much as possible and get into us. With us being down to 10 men they could, and should, change it up which will hopefully play into our hands if we don't go too conservative
-
So what is it then? When Mads, Vesty, Faes and Winks are playing keep ball between them for 5 minutes, what do we do? Whether you agree with what I'm about to say or not, if they aren't singing at times of boredom then what do they do? Football has changed a lot over the years. We now follow a game that is more accepting of a wider audience. Swearing is frowned upon. Families attend with younger children, wives and girlfriends go, football clubs try to attract to "tourist" and corporate fans. There's no vitriol, there's less anger, it's more of a day out these days than it is an afternoon with the lads full of beer etc That spontaneous atmosphere doesn't exist like it once did, not just at our club but just about every professional club in the country. I really don't get what the problem is with filling the void of silence with singing, because if there was no singing every single game would be like today, there'd be a better and louder atmosphere at the snooker 😂
-
I get what you're saying, especially around the spontaneous reactions. But think about this. Our current style of play, today for example with 74% possession, do you think there's going to be much of a spontaneous reaction to at least 50% of the time we have the ball? What do we fill the void with? New years day games are historically poor for atmosphere, not many can really be bothered, a lot are nursing hangovers on very little sleep, so today showed that without UFS it's very, very dull in the in-between bits. I do agree with what you're saying about UFS, I'm not their biggest fan with some of the stuff they say or do, and how they come across as a self appointed representation of the larger fan base, but I do agree with what they're trying to achieve and try and get a larger group of fans together all in one section to help improve the atmosphere. It's a problem we've had for 22ish years now. Football fan snobbery won't help, and that's why it won't work. I sit not too far away from them, I've had people moan that "I'm giving them ear ache" or ask if I can keep it down a bit. I've had a bloke complain that my language was disgusting because I once called the ref a pr*ck who then ironically, not 1 minute later joined in with a chant that called for Forest fans born out of wedlock to go forth and multiply. Our fan base is ridiculously fickle at times, football chants should be cheesey, a little fun and at times self deprecating. Moaning about flag waving etc etc only serves to make the atmosphere worse because it's causing divides

Huddersfield (H) 4-1 - New Years Day - Post-Match Thread
Jimbo replied to lnkstern's topic in Leicester City Forum
In all fairness the last time we were in the championship all of these applied. Teams in the championship have adapted their game and the physicality of the league has certainly declined over the last decade. It's still tough, we just have the advantage that our style was implemented quite quickly and teams are still playing our reputation rather than the team in front of them. Huddersfield were a good example of that today, they set up to not concede too many goals and keep it tight. Once they started playing they gave us a half decent game -
So what do you want?
-
People who moan about not being able to get away tickets are the ones that barely ever try and only want tickets to the big matches or the matches that are easier to get too at suitable kickoff times, i.e the games that of high demand. I can't get to away matches like I used to, my chances of getting tickets for the game I've mentioned above are very low, but I've done my fair share of away games over the years. I still go now and again. It was only because of a couple of random, last minute away games a few season back that I secured enough points for my FA cup final ticket without the stress of maybe not making it to the next tier. I've always found that there's a ticket or 2 left for less desirable games, maybe if the people who can't get away tickets tried those games they'd slowly build up their priority points
