We were linked with Theate back in 2022, before he moved from Bologna to Rennes. Wouldn't be surprised if that interest is reignited should the price be right.
-
I like him a lot, and think he'd be good in our system. But anything over £7m ish is a no for me. He'd have no resale value whatsoever, and just be a stop gap ultimately.
-
I have a funny feeling he'll come good for us. From the very little we've managed to see if him, he showed bits that suggest he could be a good hybrid of a target man, runner in behind, and a striker happy to drop deep. Maybe I'm projecting my hopes for him too much, but he is very young, and has Vardy to learn from... I think he just needs game time to develop as a lone striker—whether with us, or on loan at a top half Championship club next season. And the priority has to be him getting game time, IMHO.

Just your friendly neighbourhood Scandi Football Scout Watch: Grønbæk scored twice last night Nanasi just assisted a goal this eve Yes, I am determined to manifest the hell out of these two coming to us 🤞🏻

Part of the reason Jobe went there is because some coaches who worked with at Birmingham—and he's close with—were already there I believe. I don't think he'll move again anytime soon. I do think he is potentially a very decent player in his own right, regardless of being Jude's brother. He's consciously tried to separate the two of them with the change of name on his shirt too, so certainly not trying to ride the coat tails of his older brother.

No, but good shout on that one! I'm talking years before that. Maddison would have been with them Cov still I think. Might have been around FM2010 or so. Grant Holt, West Hoolahan, Russell Martin(!), Owain Tudur Jones...that sort of era. Long story short, took Leicester up in the first season, sacked outside the relegation zone, chose to drop down to League One with Norwich and took them up with back to back promotions. No idea how I did it, as I'm rubbish at FM, but was a lot of fun!

Got a soft spot for Norwich that goes back to my FM playing days and Wes Hoolahan. So gotta be them.

Subbed on for Inter in the 75' minute of their match against Frosinone this evening. 77' minute, gets an assist.

I'd avoid dealing with Chelsea where we can anyway to be honest, given their recent treatment of us with signings. Fofana was a farce, leaving us little time to sign a replacement, and then they recalled Casadei midway through the season...and proceeded to barely play him. Again, we struggled (and this time failed) to replace him.

League One & Two - 2023-2024 Season
CloudFox replied to Wymsey's topic in General Football and Sport
Oh I dunno, Crawley are still owned by a cryptocurrency firm I think 😅 -
He's played 29 this season apparently.

Nice find! Agreed, I get that from the video too. Kind of lanky but strong, and calm under pressure. Seems to be deceptively quick too. The chipped passes are quite interesting to see too.

Here we go fellas, a new name out of nowhere (despite what that tweet and the original article say, I've not seen him mentioned before). Gotta love this hopeful part of the silly season 😁. Right-footed CB. 24 years old. Brazilian. 6' 2".
-
Sunderland will snap him up, surely? Fits their needs to a tee.
-
What did he say? 😅

I'd hazard a guess it's this. If anything it's also achieving another thing we've wanted as fans: To shine a light on the fact that we might have "good" owners, but we are not "well run" behind the scenes due to not having who we need back there. I suppose if a new Director of Football came in, he technically wouldn't be in charge of the rebuild? He would instead be more of the Head Coach than the Manager, like Pep is at Man City. Perhaps I'm being too optimistic there though!
-
I think the most work we have to do is that backline. Need a lot more pace if we do push that high up the pitch. Although arguably we won't be able to push that high up against PL sides. Either way, we need defenders who are good on the transition.

What Enzo seems to want is exactly what all of us fans have been clamouring for for years: A refresh in the upper echelons of the club, displacing Rudkin from DoF and installing someone who can actually mastermind the remoulding of our club. I'd love us to be a club that actually had identify, competence at director level, and a desire to bring through youth. I'll continue to dream until it happens 🤞🏻

LCFC 0-2 Blackburn. Bring on the trophy
CloudFox replied to jayfox26's topic in Leicester City Forum
/close thread. Let's forget the match itself, eh? 😅 -
I don't think there should be really. Match was rubbish, other threads can cover what happened (Albrighton leaving, Champions, Vardy TIFO etc). Mods should just delete any attempts at a post-match thread 😉.
-
I agree on the performance, but if it was a shoot out for the title I don't think we would have played like that, or had as many goodbyes cameos. Losing that many as Champions is odd, but we just don't draw games—that's why. It's win or bust.
-
Oh bollocks 😅
-
Annoyed is a bit strong, but disappointed. I don't want Albrighton's (and maybe even Vardy's) last game to be a 0-2 home loss to Blackburn.
-
I know, I was referring to Yunus' dive though.
