Which is why Shearer cannot be classed as ' even the best penalty taker ' if his conversion rate is 80 - 85%... He scored 56 out of the 67 he took in his career.

The best are up in the 90s. For example;

D Murphy 95%

J Beattie 94%

J F Hasselbaink 93%

T Henry 92%

F Lampard 91%

T Sheringham 90%

As great a goal scorer shearer was, he was not a great penalty taker missing 11 of his 67 penalties.

You need to get out more.

we will win this 4-1

And you need to stop drinking.

1-0 and then concede? Sign of a team that knows its beat. West Ham will probably be confident of winning the game comfortably. As for us, we're as good as gone.

Albrighton's fanboys must be jizzing themselves

I am semi hard.... Must admit it. He has the ability and desire and can change defence into attack quicker than any other we have.

Honestly think now a point would be healthy IF Sunderland lose tomorrow. 6 points away with 8 games to go is completely do-able, but starting to believe it won't be Sunderland we'll have to catch by the end of the season. However lets say theoretically QPR and Burnley go down, if we draw and they lose 6 points off, with them still to play is reason to be upbeat.

....no

We don't win this, its pretty much curtains.  Thats how it is unfortunately when your sat on 19 points from 29 games.  We don't get any more second chances.

Albrighton on? Oh joy, more shit crosses.

Weird comment. Even if in his few appearances it's obvious he's the best crosser in the club, though that isn't saying much.

Well it's not. His crosses have hardly found anyone in previous appearances. He's had one good appearance vs Villa (H), so I don't see why anyone particularly wants him in, even schlupp and morgan have had more good games...

You don't watch city then do you? Good grief...............

I do, and he's had 1 good appearance all season. I'm not buying this "not in the team = god" nonsense.

I think he's played well every time h's been on with limited cameo roles too. Not there today then?

Me neither. But I think your dislike of him is mostly because the Pearson-outers often use his omission as one example of the manager's stubbornness.
