ithuriel Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 I still think Dull will be gone, Spurs may be like a dodgy prostitute, never knowing what you are going to get from them but I think they have enough in them to do Dull. QPR v's Newcastle though, like a battle of the titans that one, doubt anybody can foresee that outcome.

LanguedocFox Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Assumption: Our goal difference cannot be overcome except possible by Hull. If City wins 1 match, all of these need to happen for us to go down: Hull need to win 2 times and overcome City's goal difference Newcastle needs to win 2 times Sunderland needs 2 wins or 1 win and 2 draws. Aston Villa would need 1 win If City draws 1 match, all of these need to happen for us to go down: Hull needs to win their remaining 2 matches or win 1 and draw 1 and overcome City's goal difference Newcastle would need to win at least once Sunderland would need 1 win or 3 draws Aston Villa would need at least 1 draw If City draws 2 matches, all of these need to happen for us to go down: Hull needs to win 2 times Newcastle would need to win 1 and draw 1 Sunderand would need 1 win or 2 draws apart from their draw against Leicester Aston Villa would need 1 win or 2 draws If City draws gets no further points, all of these still need to happen for us to go down: Hull need to win 1 game and draw one game or overcome City's goal difference Newcastle and Sunderland need 1 win or 2 draws Well explained, and entirely correct. I think the key against Sunderland is for City to attack from the kick-off like we have in the past few games. If we get a goal within the first ten minutes, I think Sunderland will crumble.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 I go to Tenerife the day after Sunderland so miss QPR For that reason Sunderland is a must win
Ollie93 Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 I can't see QPR bringing many more than 100 fans for this....

NotTheMarketLeader Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Slightly off topic, but: Harry Redknapp has really, really knackered up QPR. I don't know why anybody gives the bloke any credibility whatsoever. He's blatantly a genuinely appalling manager who leaves a path of destruction everywhere he goes. He filled their squad with a load of old, overpaid, apathetic mercenaries. One of the largest wage bills in football and a team as an uninspiring and unspirited as possible. Yet, Redknapp seems to genuinely believe his own hype. It irritates me that he thought he was a shoe-in for the England job. At least he wouldn't have been able to wreck their finances. Then again, he'd have probably found a way. Agreed. He's a media darling solely for being a Cockney, and not his managerial achievements
cc_star Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 Man City aside, QPR play some really good football & create chances galore, their team chemistry is obviously well off, but without pressure & with the players knowing they're in the shop window or playing at Rotherham next season, it could be a really tricky proposition for us. I'm really not looking forward to us having to get a result if they're playing with pressure being off & a few 'names' looking for a move
kingcarr21 Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 I would expect QPR to play some youngsters final game of the season. Why play the mercenaries if they arent the future of the club. I think safety will be guaranteed against Sunderland simply down to Hull losing at Spurs and us getting a draw. Then final game of the season i couldnt care less if we lose 9-0. Its still going to be party central

Number 6 Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 So QPR are all of a sudden going to be great against us because the pressure is off? Doubt that. They've been crap all year and actually worse under Ramsay. Even if they do all of a sudden become good, Newcastle have to play them away. I know people think Hull have a bit of a free shot against Spurs and Utd too but again, just don't see them remaining undefeated. They'd do very well to take 3 points from either game. They didn't handle the pressure against Burnley and that pressure has only increased.
lnkstern Posted 12 May 2015 Posted 12 May 2015 Newcastle are in the shit for me, and after saying this, they deserve to go down. John Carver - what a tit http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32627362 My word ... "I'm the best coach in the Premier League" I maintain that, objectively, the results his coaching have produced speak for themselves. What a self-important blowhard!
