foxinsox Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 We will get 3 points at Sunderland. We are on fire, but their two wins came from 2 penslties against Soton and 2 lucky deflections at Everton. They are a pretty pisspoor team. Nigel will want to finish the season on a high with 3 points at home. QPR players will be more interested in their agents phonecalls and not getting injured. Joey Barton will be the only one who cares. We will end the game alternately singing "One Nigel Pearson" players songs and "One King Power" to thank the people who are behind the success. Nailed On!
Fox in the North Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Really want us to beat Sunderland so we can avoid as much final day heartbreak as possible.
fuchsntf Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Easiest 6 pts of the season, at least 1 game we will be p! Ss poor, but still grab 3 pts. Heyoo , dont care...Nigel and his players have done it already, simples ... Now they go out and play for the jerky, nervous, cant still believe it, but true n loyal fans. Sunderland are already envious of our clapometers
LedStar Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Hull had their chance against Burnley and blew it big time. Spurs have not been playing well recently, but will probably want to impress their home fans last home game this season. I can only see a Spurs win. We will probably draw with Blunderland............ and that's us safe. Last match against QPR a resounding win for us. What are we so worried about????

Because we know that hull have to win and spurs don't. I can't see anything other than a hull win. Ask the Spurs fans - they will agree.
Marie84 Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 I'm hoping we do enough on Saturday. Can't see hull doing enough and I think IMO 1 point will be enough [emoji85] And regardless last game of the season I hope we are all in party mode.. Loud proud making as much noise as possible all around the stadium [emoji170] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Gerard Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Hull had a terrible weekend. They were the biggest shoo out of all of us to get three points yet they lost. Not only that 18th placed Sunderland get a lucky win away at Everton and Leicester and Aston Villa get home wins. Even Newcastle stopped their losing run and where the only team out of their rivals not to pick up maximum points. However they still have a good opportunity to put things right. If they win at uninterested Tottenham then it's all to play for at home to a Man Utd side who will almost certainly have nothing to play for as win lose or draw they'll finish fourth. After the dust settles this weekend the Hull players will see this as a great chance for a way out. This isn't over yet by a long way.
Guest Bilo Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 I see the sentiment that Hull could still get out of it, but they're faves to go down for a reason. They looked absolutely broken at the end on Saturday, were clearly nervous and playing with fear throughout and they'll probably need a minimum of three, maybe four, points in order to stay up. If Spurs or Man Utd can be bothered at all to turn up, Hull will be down.
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 I still have a feeling it's gonna go down to the final day. Bloody hope not. I just think the bubble may burst against Sunderland. Again, I bloody hope not.
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 bloody hope not col You're right Una! Bloody hope not eh...

Again, I bloody hope not. I thought the wheels were going to come off against Southampton, especially after the Sunderland result. Just goes to show how much I know: yesterday was just about the most assured performance I have seen from a City team this season. If we perform like we did yesterday, and Sunderland also perform like they did yesterday (they really were dire), their fans will be heading for the exits again before half time.
foxesonfire Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Nailed on Leicester win in both. 3rd in premiership form league. 33 to one for relegation. Could lose both and Won't be caught.

I had little doubt we'd beat Southampton. Not so sure about Sunderland. It's not only about ability now. We are a better team than them. It's two confident sides striving to win to avoid relegation. It could go either way.
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 With the ffp fine, do qpr now have to pay £50m to play in the football league?

They needed to win and you could see their passion when they scored. Much better to be playing West Ham or Southampton at this stage. I am convinced we will beat QPR. Sunderland will be difficult. A win over QPR should be enough unless Hull do something special.

Much better to be playing West Ham or Southampton at this stage. Point taken, I'm not sure if you're right but it is a valid point. Hull would certainly have looked at the Burnley game as their big chance for three points for the remaining of the season and their loss was compounded by all the teams around them results. Spurs and Man Utd will be playing with the proverbial flip flops on so they have every opportunity to get themselves out of last chance saloon.
Raw Dykes Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Care to elaborate. I'm not saying it will definitely happen but Spurs really are finished this season and Utd will be on the beach by the time they play Hull. As it stands we need 4 more points. We don't know how many points we need yet. 4 is the maximum we will need. We might not need any more.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 Dunno what you lot are all worried about. It'll be a case of Harry Kane finally doing something for us when he buries the 90th minute winner for Spurs and we all finally lay off him a bit, at least until next season!
Prawn Sandwich Fan Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 We'll win big on the final day. I've never been more confident.
Finn Claw II Posted 10 May 2015 Posted 10 May 2015 To go down on 40 points is unlikely, let's say we beat QPR. Allowing for GD: - Hull would need to win thier last two (and convincingly), and - sunderland need to beat us and get at least two points from their last two games, and - Newcastle need to win their last two, and - Villa to win one of their last two (likely) 3 points will be more than enough

I'm not saying it will definitely happen but Spurs really are finished this season and Utd will be on the beach by the time they play Hull. As it stands we need 4 more points. Assumption: Our goal difference cannot be overcome except possible by Hull. If City wins 1 match, all of these need to happen for us to go down: Hull need to win 2 times and overcome City's goal difference Newcastle needs to win 2 times Sunderland needs 2 wins or 1 win and 2 draws. Aston Villa would need 1 win If City draws 1 match, all of these need to happen for us to go down: Hull needs to win their remaining 2 matches or win 1 and draw 1 and overcome City's goal difference Newcastle would need to win at least once Sunderland would need 1 win or 3 draws Aston Villa would need at least 1 draw If City draws 2 matches, all of these need to happen for us to go down: Hull needs to win 2 times Newcastle would need to win 1 and draw 1 Sunderand would need 1 win or 2 draws apart from their draw against Leicester Aston Villa would need 1 win or 2 draws If City draws gets no further points, all of these still need to happen for us to go down: Hull need to win 1 game and draw one game or overcome City's goal difference Newcastle and Sunderland need 1 win or 2 draws
