Izzy Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 The answer, for me, is e-cigarettes at games. Not quite the same as the real thing for 90 mins, but still get a nicotine hit and it doesn't offend people who don't like the smell.

cambridgefox Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 I very rarely smoke, but at the footie I fooking love it.

Izzy Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 i see what u did with ur username Took me weeks to think of that. Quite proud of myself actually
Brooksy Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Tends to be quite addictive, but if looking down on people makes you feel good about yourself then crack on. It does mate cheers
chapero82 Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Show me a man who can I've gone without one for 3 months now
ImBlue Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Don't go to the smoking area then? You can smell it all the way through the concourse you prat!
Ollie93 Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 You can smell it all the way through the concourse you prat! No need for name calling now is there. Personally I don't smoke, but I don't have an issue with people that do, it's their choice and I highly doubt breathing the smallest amount of smoke in for 10 minutes each weekend is going to kill you.

Taking it up the back side for 10 minutes each week won't kill me, I still don't want to be subjected to it involuntarily.
MooseBreath Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Taking it up the back side for 10 minutes each week won't kill me, I still don't want to be subjected to it involuntarily. Nobody is forcing you to go to the football.
Strokes Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Taking it up the back side for 10 minutes each week won't kill me, I still don't want to be subjected to it involuntarily.Passive smoking is kinda like gay rape, when you think about it.
ImBlue Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Nobody is forcing you to go to the football. Wow. In the stakes of pointless statements you've really raised the bar here.
Ollie93 Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Taking it up the back side for 10 minutes each week won't kill me, I still don't want to be subjected to it involuntarily. It isn't involuntary is it, you chose to go into the concourse. If you don't want to smell the faintest scent of B&H gold then don't go down there.

Ollie93 Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 I may choose to go to a bar where there a lot of homosexual men. Does it mean I am volunteering? That is probably the worst comparison ever, also your second mention of homosexuality. Are you confused or just homophobic?
ImBlue Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 That is probably the worst comparison ever, also your second mention of homosexuality. Are you confused or just homophobic? Neither, but if anything, the latter. There's a reason it's banned in clubs and pubs. Consideration for others and dangers of passive smoking. And because the government didn't consider it reasonable for those wanting to not passive smoke to just avoid all the places smokers go. While the smoking area seems like it's outside, it isn't and it comes in the concourse and stinks.

What do you suggest then, ban smoking everywhere outside the ground?
ImBlue Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Nice to see you're living in the 21st century. What do you suggest then, ban smoking everywhere outside the ground? Sorry, did I hit a nerve? In and immediately outside the ground yes.
Ollie93 Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Sorry, did I hit a nerve? In and immediately outside the ground yes. Not particularly, just being quite facetious aren't you. So everyone who wants a cigarette has to walk half way down Burnmoor street?

It actually got banned for people who worked in a passive smoking environment, not for dicks like you who are there by choice.
Langley Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Sorry, did I hit a nerve? In and immediately outside the ground yes. Let's ban alcohol, breathing, talking, singing, shouting, walking, drinking, sighing, farting and blue while we're at it.
