jammie82uk Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Shocking defending again from Sunderland centre backs don't know when to drop when to press o'shea even gave up on one point with Oscar running at goal Definitely deserve to be where they are in the league
weller54 Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Southampton could end up in a relegation battle.. They look awful!!! Flattered Spurs!
Donut Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Southampton could end up in a relegation battle.. They look awful!!! Flattered Spurs! Southamptons hype this season came from the one good win vs Chelsea away. Having said that, they are decent and wont go down
weller54 Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 If Swansea win tomorrow.. Southampton are in it!
jammie82uk Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Well that's xmas and new year off for rondon
Donut Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Footballers at times can astound you with how thick they are.

foxes_rule1978 Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Hahahahahahahahahahaha WBA... Animals! What do you expect when Pulis is the manager, that is what his teams are like. West Brom use to be a good free flowing team but now they are just bullies. I'm so glad he isn't our manager
Wymsey Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 I've seen some defending and shooting in this league in the past few weeks that you'd expect really more to happen in League 1/2 - fine margins and that. Disgusting by both McClean (what else would you expect from him) and Rondon; if Rondon did that in the street, he would've been arrested.
Guest Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Rumour has it that Guardiola will confirm on Sunday that he'll be heading to Man City at the end of the season. Would be a strange to announce it so soon, and to leave a demotivated Pellegrini in place in the meantime, so I'm doubtful. But anything to derail them this season would be okay by me.

He can confirm hes leaving his current job, but you cant say youre going somewhere, that totally undermines the current manager, creates a conflict of interest with his current club, and shows hes been tapped up. Confirm youre leaving yes, but thats it

Hope West Brom loses the next few games on the trot (against relegation battlers) and they end up going down.

Confirm youre leaving yes, but thats it Do you mean "officially" he can't, or on "principle" he shouldn't? I agree it would be bizarre, and I'll believe it when i see it. Man City would effectively be turning Pellegrini into a caretaker manager. Or they fire him/he walks and they get someone else to be caretaker for 6 months. It would be an extremely unusual move to make during the middle of an okay-ish season. But maybe they would think it's a sacrifice worth making in order to secure Guardiola's services next year? I know a lot of it is just press speculation, but if it happened it would be very interesting to see what affect it has this year.
Far Post Gerry Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Not sure if it's been posted elsewhere but the Guardian's done a decent job of reviewing the summer transfers: http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2015/dec/17/premier-league-transfers-summer-signings-club-by-club Ours seem pretty fair, except Dyer who i would've rated higher.
Corky Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Southampton are actually quite shit aren't they? No, just think they did very well in the last two seasons. 12th/13th isn't a dreadful season and probably reflects the current quality of their squad.
Guest Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Todd From Breaking Bad. James McClean. I might just be onto something. Is he the butcher from Fargo?
Guest Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 I was pleased that Chlesea fans kept singing for mourhino. Chelsea players should be ashamed of their performances and yesterday it was only a win against Sunderland who are in essence a championship club.

Kante only 10/10, don't agree with that should be 20/10
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Southampton are actually quite shit aren't they? Selling players has caught up with them - and ironically I have a feeling they're carrying a couple that wanted to leave where they said 'no!'
Jimothy Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Selling players has caught up with them - and ironically I have a feeling they're carrying a couple that wanted to leave where they said 'no!' Wanyama wanted out didn't he? I can understand keeping him close to the end of summer window last year, and even Jan, but now they've had the whole summer they should have cashed in.
ScouseFox Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 Southampton are actually quite shit aren't they? like ive said for ages cough col cough
Guest Col city fan Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 like ive said for ages cough col cough You called it..and were right too.
ScouseFox Posted 20 December 2015 Posted 20 December 2015 You called it..and were right too. since the start of february (so basically a year) they've picked up 40 points (i think) in 33 games. not much better than relegation form over almost a whole season.
