Only one person has ever suggested anything even remotely close to that - and that's Mark_W; no-one listens to him. The point about BR is that there were people last summer when we'd won the title who still wanted him out - it's clear for them, Pearson doesn't fit and no matter hat he does they won't want him.

Didn't MattP post that he'd still want Pearson as manager even if we went down to Div 4, and it was one of the most liked posts ever on foxestalk.

Forums need diversity and who is and isn't a dickhead is generally a matter of perspective. I enjoy reading different opinions to my own, either because I will be smugly self satisfied in my own sense of righteousness or because a different view might cause me to reflect and reconsider. A forum where everyone agrees isn't a forum at all.

I believe I said I'd probably start doubting him if we went down and finished outside the top six next season, but whatever.

I did and it was total sarcism, but after watching all the seenitall's, hackneyfox and anothershitseason etc all frothing at the mouth over it I had no choice but to carry on pretending I was being totally serious. It was too funny not too. I'm waiting to hear Hackneyfox burst out into his solo 'Gary, Gary Gary Gary Lineker' chant after we've all sang 'One Nigel Pearson' so I can identify him.
