Looks fantastic, much better than concrete and steel

There's clearly a difference between that and the dull concrete at our ground

Well the difference is that brutalist buildings tend to be made almost entirely out of dull concrete. The only part of those photos that look brutalist to me are the horrible stairs which already look weathered in the drawings

Ok I'll bow down to your knowledge on this

Herzog and de Meuron are building a skyscraper in Paris too, looks good but if we're talking stadiums Stade Ocean, Havre's ground is fantastic as is the Allianz Riveira

Slight overreaction, anyone?

These are just some of the primary templates - of course, it'll be changed into something more socially acceptable in the end.

But I do like Herzog & Meuron's approach - away from the typical stadium design of today.

If they can integrate brick walls and the generous space into the final product, it'll look terrific.

Only in London?

You hipster.

lol

I looked at Havre's ground when we signed Riyad and I was looking at the France 2016 stadiums for the Allianz riviera

I like the weathered look. Also have when I took modern art courses in college. I'm sure it'll change as building goes but I'm on board with a bold/weathered/concert design.
