NewquayFox Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 Is what Pearson was on and it ran out July1st, owners decided he was too much aggro and didn't renew it...... Simples.... Up the City...
Larry_LCFC Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 These threads are getting worse.... by the minute.
EnderbyFox Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 Wrong. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27983216 Nigel Pearson: Leicester City manager signs new three-year deal Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has signed a new three-year contract with the East Midlands club.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 Common knowledge he signed a 3 year deal last summer. Soz.
Rincewind Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 yhought this was going to be about the new manager. could this had not been put in the Pearson sacked thread?
filbertway Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 Als, surely a rolling contract never runs out, so you wouldn't have to renew it. This is one of the worst threads ever.
Matt Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 Is the OP by any chance taking the piss out of all the arguements of Rob Kelly's rolling contract. Kelly's Contract - http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/25160-kellys-contract/ I know Rob Kelly has been sacked but...? - http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/36362-i-know-rob-kelly-has-been-sacked-but/ Is it true that - http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/35768-is-it-true-that/ I seem to remember the rolling contract issue being a big discussion point on here as filbertway has pointed out a rolling contract never runs out, so you wouldn't have to renew it. Someone I know was trying to tell me Pearson's contract ran out this summer so they've sacked him without having to pay him any compo. I quicked pointed out that he signed a new 3 year contract last summer and besides if his contract ran out this summer they wouldn't have needed to sack him would they, they'd simply just let the contract run out.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 Als, surely a rolling contract never runs out, so you wouldn't have to renew it. This is one of the worst threads ever. All that time we waited for Rob Kelly's one year rolling contract to expire and some people still don't have it figured out.
Rincewind Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 I suppose there could be a one year contract with a negotiable renewal each year which would differ from a rolling contract. It may have been misunderstood by those reporting on it.
