Moaning Miserable Munters !

Because of the nonsense people are trying to make us believe now regarding them, we have people saying they saved the club, when they arrived we had just lost in a play off semi final and were going in the right direction. What other fans think doesn't really bother me, just because they have crap owners doesn't mean we should bowdown to ours with regards to every decision they make.

Every decision they have made so far that doesn't involve Pearson managing the football club has been a shocker, let's hope the Ranieri appointment is different, but I'm once bitten twice shy. (Or twice bitten thrice shy)

Yeah all those training ground improvements and transfer records being broken have been nothing short of shockingly bad decisions lol

One thing I believe is unfair when criticising the owners, is the sacking of Nigel. None of us know the true & actual reason for them taking such drastic action, but for sure they must have had a damn good reason as they always said that they had a very good & close relationship with him.  The Thais have to be the best owners that this football club have ever had, so get behind them ffs!

By the same argument you don't know much if anything about our previous owners.

We haven't had bad owners in the past I agree but this is the first time in our clubs history that the owners have ploughed so much money into the club on both Debts improvements to ground training ground and breaking club spending records on players let alone what they have done for us fans also !!

I think that all the years I have supported Leicester and it's quite a few that these are the best owners we have had they are actually putting their money forward to make us a successful premier league side and as said before this is a new era in supporting Leicester City !!

Just because they have a lot of money doesn't mean they are better, maybe some of the previous owners put in all they could afford it may not have been as much but anyone who gives up to their maximum is surely worth considering as one of the best.

These maybe the best but you can't say they are the best without knowing previous circumstances.

My point was you can't criticise people for commenting negatively about an unknown situation and then post positively about an unknown situation, somewhat hypocritical don't you think.

Not really but I see what you mean but this was supposed to be a bit of a tongue in cheek posting Davie !

Matt is clearly talking about football decisions. Great they made the stadium look a bit nicer and improved the training ground, but they aren't exactly tough decisions to make when money is no object. All their decisions made in terms of the footballing side have been pretty poor, with the exception of stumbling upon Pearson as a 2nd or 3rd choice.

It's the argument of the very simple.

Owners with loads of cash = good owners

Owners with little cash = bad owners.

Unfortunately a lot of British fans seem to think the same way these days.

Sousa was appointed under mandaric.

Sven was appointed with mandaric as chairman.

Since the owners have assumed full control they've made the following managerial decisions:

Sacking sven

Appointing pearson

Not sacking Pearson during two very bad runs.

Four decisions, all correct.

How are you justifying saying "all of their footballing decisions have been poor"?! They've all be correct!

Out of interested, what would you consider to be the qualities of a good owner?

Agreed - what sort of Dumbass believes £100m + or whatever the figure of investment is, has not transformed the fortunes and improved the stability of the club over the last few years.

Great question. It's a really tough thing to be because I don't think any of other business it is like it, instead of shareholders to please it's supporters, instead of financial investment from cusomters it's emotional investment.

I still think Martin George was the best owner/chairman we had, he wasn't absolutely loaded himself but he seemed to realise where the club was and where it could be, he picked three managers during his time here, Brian Little, Mark McGhee and Martin O'Neill, I don't think anyone could claim to have a better record than that in managerial appointments.

I think a good owner is someone who cares about the club and would go to any length to make sure it is still there for the next generation of it's faithful, sees the football as the total priority and the thing that decisions should always be based on, has a level head, is sensible, doesn't see it as a model for his own personal interests or business and above all realises that the supporters are his customer, but also that they are not customers in any sense of the world.

It's someone who would never seek to make money out of the club for themselves, they are in it for the wrong reasons if that's the case, what Shiekh Mansoor and Roman Abramovich have done is beyond sensational, to invest (sorry not invest, let's use the proper word shall we? Give) that sort of money just to deliver trophies to the supporters is out of this World.

if they do believe that it needs investment and they can provide it then they shouldn't start charging levels of interest on the club to do it, if you run a Premier League club it's likely you have enough money anyway.

You?

We'd actually gone down the league when that figure stood at around 90million lol

I have to say I agree we are a miserable bunch of b*****ds as football fans. It doesn't seem to matter what happens to us as a club, there are always a huge number of people who are ready to have a good moan about it. I honestly think there are some people on here who would be happier if we were struggling down in League 2 the way they talk about the club.

I am aware of the hypocrisy moaning about us being moany and miserable but sometimes it is just incredible. Go back 10 weeks ago when we had just secured premier league survival = moaning about the new kit, moaning about the free beer, skip forward to Pearson's sacking = moaning about the owners, moaning they have ruined the club, moaning they don't know what they are doing. And now the present = moaning about the fact it took 2 weeks to get the new manager in, moaning that we are linked with certain players.

Just relax and enjoy being a fan of the club for a while.

Just to clarify to anyone who thinks I'm a 'moaner'.

Since this month I haven't moaned about Leicester City Football Club since Sven Goran Erikson was in charge, that's a fairly long time.

well said totally agree, when you know last season about 28/29,000 home fans attended each home match there very few serious moaners, so most of do just enjoy being a fan through thick and thin.

And your moaning constantly now he is sacked?

Surprising..

Ranieri is rubbish. Owners are rubbish.
