He had a great season for Ajax last season meaning they wanted £9million for him. Don't know what to do. Fed up with Kramaric being shit so I could do with another striker. What have you done to him? He's a superb poacher and finished as the leagues top scorer with 26 when he had a full season up front for me. Set him to poacher with an inside forward just behind him, then just sit back and let him do his thang!

I give him chance after chance (always as the poacher) but he just doesn't score. Even in the league cup against Peterborough he missed two one on ones! Anyway my second season is going so bad. Not even changed that much either. After 5 games I'm 17th having conceded 16 goals. Newcastle, yes Newcastle, just beat me 2-5 I don't know what going on.

First game at home v palace playing with a 4-1-2-3(W) Kasper De laet(FB(au)) Huth(CD) Morgan(CD) Fuchs(WB(s)) Inler(DLP(d)) Kante(BBM(S)) Drinkwater(AP(a)) Mahrez(IF(s) Kram(IF(a)) Vardy(AF(a)) Team instructions: Retain possession Play out of defence Work ball into box Whipped crosses Look for overlap Get stuck in Tighter marking More disciplined Prevent GK distribution Won 5-3 and Vardy scoring all 5!!! need to find a decent tactic to fall back on when leading as i was 4-1 up then 4-3 and shitting it. also it looks like crosses are massively overpowered as 7 out of the 8 goals were from crosses. Not a bad start. Anyone got tips on players come jan transfer window?? I'd definitely say play Albrighton instead of Kramaric out wide as he is an absolute beast in this for the exact reason you mentioned that crosses are really OP, has rating of 17 for crossing with "crosses the ball early" PPM, gets about 25 assists a season.

rmahrez Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 So, I ran out of team ideas and started a save as unemployed with a high reputation. In November of the first season Ajax offered me a job, 10th in the Eredivise and bottom of their champions league group. 5 games in, and it's safe to say we've had an unbelievable start, first time I've really had success on the game long may it continue. Managed to qualify for the Europa League through the win at Bayern, which was highly improbable when I joined with Genk on 6 points and us on just 1. Hopefully we can get a bit of money through a run in that, as the club doesn't have a massive budget at the moment.

There aren't any 'best tactics' when choosing a play style you need to consider if you've got the players with the correct attributes.Say you want to play on the counter you're going to need more support roles than attacking, be deep within your own half, have quick players and utilise players that fit into the correct roles.

I am trying to sell Okazaki but will only get about 5 mil for him, so does anyone know any cheap strikers who suit the counter attacking style?

ramboacdc Posted 29 December 2015 Posted 29 December 2015 got back into this last night. finished 7th in the league and now aiming for a cup. seems once you stay in the premier league into next season you are financially stable for a long time. got given 37m to spend in the summer.

Think I've turned Leicester into the worst side in the Premier League. Slipped to 19th after yet another 0-1 defeat (this time losing to Watford). Doesn't matter what I do I just end up losing. Sometimes batter teams but just don't score.

Literally battered Stoke. 3 "clear cut chances", hit the woodwork once too.... They get a corner, my keeper drops it and they tap it in. Literally it's like this every game - not a keeper mistake every game but easy goals to concede. Must have the worst GA column in the history of FM.
