Fox92 Posted 9 January 2016 Posted 9 January 2016 how do you call someone back off a loan? There's a clause in the loan contract that the player can be recalled. There's no monthly fee between my club and the loan club. But can only see an option on the player's screen to propose a loan extension? I think you can only do it when the transfer market is active. I have the same problem.

Free agent and sold to Liverpool for £5.25mil within a year, with a season long loan back. Blinder although losing him will be a blow.

Keatings + Cummings Over 30 goals each! Handling + Ambrose (loan) over 20 goals each! I know it was only Scottish Champ, I still didn't think I'd win that easily.

Beliall Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 This game doesn't want me to win anything, my star striker wants a new contract according too my DoF, so i spoke to him and agreed to give him a new deal, went to offer said contract, he refused to talk, saying my ambitions dont match his own, then my entire squad got angry about my refusal to give him a contract!!!! ****ing trolled.
Ozwin Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 2nd in Ligue 1 after half a season! PSG about 5 points clear. My budget was 250k! Crazy scenes, used the loan market like a boss and could actually win the league with a bit of luck. Would be up there in achievements on FM if I did.

Most of them are the ones that come from deep to the back post, and the strikers just poke it in whilst the keeper looks on gormlessly. I tried every permutation of marking and full-back settings, I've got to the point where I think it's just a game engine issue.

I'm at the point when watching on 'key' highlights, if the ball makes it towards the back post from a cross, its a guaranteed goal.

Started unemployed and was eventually offered a game in the 2016 closed season...by 'basketcase' Blackpool, freshly relegated to L2. massively overspending on wages, (39k/budget 31k)and zero for transfers. Had a massive clearout, released 10 players and sold one...brought in 8 new faces, (mixture of y&e) and 3 loans.. By November was 8 pts clear at the top of L2, having just won 4-3 at 2nd placed Morecambe. 18 played 42pts...had also just played L1 Preston away in both the FA Cup, (drew 1-1) and JPT, (WON 4-0)....My midfield pairing, (Loft and McAllister) were the top two performers in the division, whilst my strikers, (Cullen and the on loan Alex Jones(not her) had 22 goals between them...All flying then!! Not quite....A 'consortium' led by David Bloody Cardoza no less, took over the club, unceremoniously 'ditched' me and appointed Dougie 'kin Freedman in my place!! SEETHING!! I realise it won't be to you, but that is really quite funny. Revived the club, taken over and booted for Dougie Freedman, classic.

Missed out on the play-offs by 2 points last season but just managed to bring in Wilfried Bony for £7.5m after shipping out Marco Matias to West Ham for £6.75m (to be fair he was class for me in my first season with 15 assists but didn't want to stay after they came sniffing about). Also bought Chillwell in for £2m after a season long loan with us, he's absolute class, scored a few worldies! Got Dwight Gayle in my first season for £3m and he banged 19 goals in. Currently in 6th after 10 games but worryingly the board is cutting my transfer budget and wage budget at the end of the season plus we're in danger of failing the FFP requirements, oh dear! Promotion is a must now!

It's amazing how often mine are cutting out long balls down the wings. Zeki Fryers is superb at League One level. I'm predicted 21st and I'm in with a fair shout of getting promoted into the Championship this season.
Ozwin Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 So I just finished 3rd in Ligue 1 with Le Havre. Topping Monaco and Marseille in the process. Ridiculous scenes, Porsan Clemente (how good has this guy been on FM the last few years!?) and Callum Gribbin (I though I had found a wicked regen but apparently he's real) on loan have basically dragged me to the Champions League. Now I have £5M to somehow pull off a miracle of even reaching the group stages because both players are no longer available for loan this season and are worth £20M+ a piece each now thanks to me.

Stadt Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Set up a tactic playing on the counter mentality, choose a 4141 or another tactic that has players getting behind the ball, don't pick too many attack duties or roles that won't track back and you won't concede too many. If they over commit then you'll trigger counters when you have players on the ball.

Merge a couple of countries like Spain and Portugal (my next project) or Holland and Germany. It's pretty easy to be honest, just watch a ten minute youtube video.
