Union FS are really helping establishing our Kop these days. Clappers have helped, but the persistent singing and chanting of Union FS every match gets fans involved, and the efforts of the group does keep the atmosphere going for the full 90. Flags, the atmosphere and Tifo's are all improving the character of our Kop end, and I can only see the Kop going from strength to strength in the future with what Union FS continue to do. There's still potential for the stand to get better as well.

I know what I'd like - a fully standing SK1 or Kop but I know this is highly unlikely and there will be still be supporters who would like to sit at home games (which is absolutely fine too)

Do you know, today, the support was top notch. Sometimes though, in a couple of moments today I stopped singing just to take it all in. To listen, to the cauldron of noise reverberating around our stadium and It felt beautiful.

'Leicester boys are we' is my new favourite chant.

Singing that for 20 minutes straight gave me a stitch.

Personally I thought that chant killed the atmosphere a bit because no one else in the kop knew the words so could only clap along.

But it probably felt amazing in your corner but honestly added nothing to the overall atmosphere.

You lads have done a fantastic job and if you want to diversify your song range then that's obviously fine but maybe with the club on the verge of something truly historic you should stick to songs that will get the whole kop/stadium singing along.

Whereabouts do you sit out of interest? It did sound brilliant up in SK1 and thought people caught on to the words pretty quickly.

Appreciate what you're saying to some extent, but if we did that it'd just be about 45 minutes of 'Owoahwoahwoah' (let's face it, most don't join in with the words to 'Taking us to Europe', just the noises) and 45 minutes of 'Ranieri's Blue White Army' (which sounds awesome, but again, people weren't interested yesterday when it did get going).

We just have to face facts that most people aren't interest in singing for the vast, vast majority of the game whatever chant's cracking off.

All songs are new at some point.

Agreed with what you said but we're not exactly going to wait until the start of next season to start singing a song about winning the league! Plus as soon as the other side of the Kop started off something else we dropped it and joined in with that, it's not like SK1 persistently sing new stuff and ignore everyone else.

Probably because of my age, I just love the Dusty song. Seems to be getting louder and louder at each game, as more and more people are getting to know all the words.

I'm sk1 too but row w so quite a bit further down from you lads it did look amazing especially when you were really giving it some and had all the flags going but it did go on for ages and coincided with a bit of a lull in the atmosphere in the kop and ground in general it's also a very hard song to work out the words so there was plenty of people around me who normally get involved who were just clapping along with their clappers.

There are other songs that get everyone involved like 'come on Leicester boys', 'everywhere we go','we love you leicester' and some of the individual player ones.

Also people were starting to get on board with that 'feeling that I get when I past filbert Street one' but didn't hear that get an airing.

But anyway this is not a gripe in anyway you lads are the dogs Bol***ks just think that now with the club on the verge of the most glorious feat in its history you should be looking to get chants going the catch on with the kop and rest of the ground and would actually make their way onto the pitch.

Fair enough, guess it can be difficult to gauge accurately how much everywhere else is involved sometimes when you're in the thick of it. Like I say though, it genuinely did sound like it had caught on and spread. If there was a feeling it hadn't, we wouldn't have kept going with it for so long.

The Dusty song did get an airing a few of times as usual.

The Stamford bridge one was loud on tv and in l1, took a bit of time, but people know the words now, well done to the lads behind me in l1, for keep singing it, until everyone got it, great chant

I think the new song was being sung at a point in the game when we were under the kosh, there were 10-15 mins at the start of the second half where we were really struggling if I remember correctly. I think we would have struggled to get anything going at that point in the game. At least doing what we did kept the Kop clapping and something happening, things could have got really nervy if there was nothing going on.

fair play fella, the fact that atmosphere discussions on foxes talk are now about which songs will get the whole ground singing rather than "how do we generate any kind of atmosphere" shows what a good job you've done over the last couple of years.

Can't wait for West Ham.

How does this one go ??

Knew that we were up for it yesterday when the lads got the biggest ovation that I've ever heard for a warm up ! The stadium was a sight to behold from the top of C Block. Incredible :chant:

Agree with that... anyone posted up the words? Not for the first time I've wanted to join in and not been able to do anything but mumble and clap!! :D

Edit: I should really read the whole thread :P
