Jermain Jenas.......

We are guilty of a little bias to City, but it's incredible how irate people get when a pundit criticises us. His opinion is that we will struggle because we have replaced a manager who was successful, and who would no doubt had the fight in a relegation battle with excellent man management skills with an experienced manager, however a man who hasn't tasted many relegation battles, spent a lot in most of his jobs and hasn't managed in England for a decade. As well as this he believes that our most influential player has left and has yet to have been truly replaced in terms of his creativity. All of these arguments are pretty valid, and the fact that we beat Sunderland who were down right dreadful isn't going to be enough to change his or any critics mind just yet. He is paid to give his opinion, which he has done and it's an opinion that quite a few city fans hold too! But for that he is the worst pundit going, only got the job to fill BBC quota's etc.

He's actually quite a nice bloke. He's a Forest fan though and see's us through Red tinted glasses.

Not possible to use nice bloke and Forest fan in the same sentence.

And the rest of the media are right wing, so there has to be a balance somewhere, otherwise the British population will evolve into one race that look like Boris Johnson

I'm sorry but that's total rubbish (except for the Daily Mail)

**** sake, what's with the blatant racism on here?

Jenas is a quality pundit. Usually on point, interesting things to say. He has done well at the BBC for that reason, nothing else.

Maybe if some of you narrow-minded bigoted ****ing idiots could look outside your Leicester-tinted specs, and think outside your racist heads you might realise that overwhelmingly people generally have good things to say about him as a pundit.

As an aside I'm a little disappointed to see so many pundits/punters have written us off this season. But there is a theme there - hopefully we can prove them wrong. They are entitled to their opinions though.

Also nobody is more bitter towards Leicester than that man Claridge, surely?

How is he even on the telly.

Unbelievably boring.

Really shouldn't care what pundits think, they all had us for the drop last year and then we made the best escape anyone has ever seen in the premier league so we just have to prove them wrong again. We have had a lot of unworthy criticism from the media for choosing Ranieri and its unjust. Overall he's a good career managing some top players. I'm sure we won't go down. There's at least 5 teams not as good. The 3 promoted teams, Sunderland, Villa.

More negative words diwected at us.

He said we played well and was fair in his assessment of the referee's decision.

Thought he was fairly decent tonight tbh.

He didn't look happy but he was fairly positive about us

Jeans was very complimentary towards us tonight. No problem whatsoever

Did you actually watch MOTD?? He praised us, agreed with Adrian sending off but said Schmeichel should have been sent off which is a fair and accurate comment.

He must have read my post last week, to be honest how could any pundit not like how City played today...

Up the City....

When he goes to the barbers he asks for a Lloyd Christmas 1-2. The pumpkin pie haircutted freak

How about him? Could he fart on your face?

How about him? Could he fart on your face?

I'd let any well spoken, polite black man do that to me

I'd even let Tim Sherwood. The wrinkles round Tim Sherwood's eyes are from years of alcohol, tobacco and drug abuse

Hate this trend of slating and starting threads about anybody who says anything remotely negative about us. Like him as a pundit compared to some of the others and was pretty fair tonight I thought.

Did you not read his comments in the Rachel Riley thread earlier?

I'm just saying, you seem to have an odd fixation on it.

Not judging at all btw.
