Larry_LCFC Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 I'm just saying, you seem to have an odd fixation on it. Not judging at all btw. Its just for the bantz Mr Llama. Just for the bantz!
Guest Posted 15 August 2015 Posted 15 August 2015 Does Jenas still play? He still looks about 12 so i assume he does?
Jimmy Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 Does Jenas still play? He still looks about 12 so i assume he does? think his last injury finished his career
Jimothy Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 think his last injury finished his career He's not officially retired, so is just a free agent at the minute. Odd situation though that's he's not quit but is getting a lot of media work. He might as well just announce his retirement.
justfoxes Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 It was so hilarious when he actually had to say how well we've started and are playing at one point he looked like he was sucking a lemon pouting trying to big us up or did shearer have his thumb up JJ arse !! The little Knob head !!
AyewJoking Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 Does Jenas still play? He still looks about 12 so i assume he does? He's still under contract at Spurs but he needs to do something in between his visits to the physio.
Jimmy Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 He's still under contract at Spurs but he needs to do something in between his visits to the physio. his last club was QPR
EverybodyDannsNow Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 Don't know if this has been mentioned already but I've just watched MOTD2 extra from last week, and when Jenas was asked if Ranieri is a manger he would have liked to play under, he very awkwardly said "no". His reason for saying no was because of the 'Tinkerman' label, as he believes that to be successful you need consistent team selections. The part which made me laugh was when Mark Lawrenson raised a very good point that ALL managers are tinkermen nowadays, to which Jenas just sits there nodding, almost acknowledging the fact that his previous comments were absolutely rubbish. I don't like the bloke, and he doesn't seem to like us either.
Guest Col city fan Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 The whole tinker man stuff is crap. Look at Pearson last season. How many tactical formations did he try before he finally got it right? If anyone tinkered with our formation it was Nige. It's part and parcel of football.

Jimmy Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 What does Pearson have to do with a title Ranieri founded while managing at Chelsea? he's pointing out the the main thing people bitched about Ranieri for was done by the beloved messiah just last season, and is in fact now done en masse by pretty much every club
AKCJ Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 he's pointing out the the main thing people bitched about Ranieri for was done by the beloved messiah just last season, and is in fact now done en masse by pretty much every club Everyone has praised Ranieri for not changing much. We could all see that we had a good thing going with Nigel and had a very good squad. Which is why eyebrows were raised when we appointed Ranieri, a man renowned for changing things to suit him. Absolutely full credit should go to Ranieri for acknowledging this and continuing with Pearson's good work and it's a great shame that this forum houses the opinion of a few utter morons who can't acknowledge that Pearson's work is about 90% responsible for our current success. Ranieri gets an A+ for his start from me. But I won't be judging him til this time next season at least.

If anyone can't see that Pearson himself tinkered with the squad and formation tons of times last season, they are again looking through Nigel tinted glasses. And it's a good thing he did. Cos he finally got it right.

Cos he finally got it right. Yeah changing things when you are getting shit results is expected. Ranieri got his name for changing things regardless. Not the same at all.For the record I don't have a problem with either approach. Be it picking a different team for each game on its merits, or sticking with a winning team. I think both can work but certainly need to be wary not to change TOO much. So far Claudio certainly hasn't.

That's right, ****ing nothing. And besides that, the main complaints of Ranieri I saw were his lack of longevity at clubs and the fear that he would lay a hatchet job, replacing players like sven would. Not because he would implement squad rotation.

SystonFox Posted 17 August 2015 Posted 17 August 2015 He's a smug little shit who looks like he likes the smell of his own farts. what is the obsession with farts here?! Jenas is a forest cvnt and a poor pundit. Ian Wright wasn't much better on MOTD this week IMO.
