I'd love to see the BBC wound up completely. To think people are expected to pay licence money to keep such a shithouse in business is like having a toothpick stuck in the throat - it irritates so much it makes you feel sick. For how much you pay (£140ish a year?) if a commercial organisation (Sky for example) took over all of their responsibilities, and couldn't fund it with adverts, that price would go up massively. The BBC is great value for money.

They hire people based solely on their gender or race. Nevermind if someone else is better qualified. Like most public bodies. They have a positive obligation to recruit from under represented minority groups (whatever that means). Unfortunately it means that if there isn't a good enough candidate but middle management need to hit a quota, they hire rubbish.

His tactical analysis was always a good insight on MoTD. Pat Nevin is always a good listen, too. Is he still on the BBC? The thing is with MoTD and live football shows is that there is little time to go into a proper, detailed analysis of a team's performance. I do feel that the average fan doesn't really learn a lot from these experts. Jenas is one of the worst to be honest.
