fuchsntf Posted 26 August 2015 Posted 26 August 2015 We are 3 games into the season, yet aleady some fans are suggesting loans for players that have sat on the Bench. The mind boggles, it really does. Any of those players plus a couple more are still jousting for Position, for recognition, 1) hoping to mix it to get on the bench 2 still hoping to make 1st base for a magic 1st team spot. Lets get into September, lets await and see which thoughts and ideas on the squad Claudio starts to sway. The top 16 players need motivation and hope that their chosen club want them around on PL game day. Then if not 1st choice in any given month still have time to prove their manager wrong. Its still early season through the whole of September. The last 3 PL games is not the end product, other permitations and changes will be natural developments.Let the squad first find its feet, upto now yet unknown partnerships evolve. It works both ways, if a player in the top 16/17 came to me as a manager, and ask now for a loan, I would laugh tell them to get a grip, and be patient. The whole squad needs time together at least through the 1st 8-10 games. And FFS learn from last season, get off the individual players backs. At present nobody in the the squad has done anything, that should deny his chance...4 bloody games FGS !!

filbertstreet Posted 26 August 2015 Posted 26 August 2015 D'you reckon it's against football rules to loan a rhino from the zoo as the goalkeeper. I guess tie him on a leash to the goal so he doesn't maul all the players but a rhino would be a good goalkeeper

Swiss_tony Posted 26 August 2015 Posted 26 August 2015 We don't have to name the 25 man squad until after the xfer window closes.

filbertstreet Posted 28 August 2015 Posted 28 August 2015 Such and idiot, a rhino would pull the goal posts down in a second make it harder for the other team to score wouldnt it, cant believe the negativity here

It might not survive 90 minutes on land, though. Is it against the rules to have a dead whale carcass in goal?
