The Manchester City captain has played a key role in his team's charge to the top of the Premier League table and his individual performances have seen him hit the summit in our new standings. The Sky Sports Power Rankings are purely based on statistics and award players points for a wide array of in-game actions, from scoring goals to making tackles and completing passes, and indicate which Premier League players are the most in form. Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez is in second spot But it's not all about goalscorers. Goalkeepers Simon Mignolet and Joe Hart also feature in the top five after kicking off the new campaign with three clean sheets in a row for Liverpool and Man City, respectively. Sir Fynwy Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 Wow another set of pointless stats designed to fill inches in papers and provide click bait
BirminghamFox Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 I'm still looking for a Sunderland player......scrolled as far as 427 and gave up
Foxymcoxy Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 Looks like a decent list of influential players so far this season. Doesn't really mean a lot without knowing more about their algorithm, just like whoscored.
sdb Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 Albrighton has been different gravy for us! His win % from starts must be about 75-80%!
VLC86 Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 Wow another set of pointless stats designed to fill inches in papers and provide click bait No irony at all in you posting this on an internet forum.
Freesolo Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 Wow another set of pointless stats designed to fill inches in papers and provide click bait What a load of rubbish. Yea I mean Mahrez is pish i dunno what he is doing up their in 2nd place?
Fox92 Posted 27 August 2015 Posted 27 August 2015 Yea I mean Mahrez is pish i dunno what he is doing up their in 2nd place? Where did I comment about Mahrez's ability? I couldn't care less if he is 1st or 100th. It's a pointless article, that's what I'm getting at, nothing to do with the ability of each footballer. It's pretty obvious Mahrez would be top five considering he's scored three goals and we haven't lost a game yet. I like statistics and facts belive me, but they carry on publishing irreverent stuff like this. We're three games in, it's pointless. So next time you're all sarcastic, at least read my post first.

With all due respect there were only 5 words to read. You could have been referring to the standings or the fact it was a pointless article. Clearly the latter is a fact but your recent posts on Mahrez's defensive ability could have led people to draw the former conclusion.
