Leicester City's Comebacks

Recommended Posts

Today I'm a pleased that we got a draw against Stoke when we were 2 - 0 down and also last week when we 2 - 0 down and we ended up winning 3 - 2 but is it annoying you that we are getting comebacks instead of scoring the first goals. Also we should start to put or second half play into our first half.

We can't keep allowing teams to go 1,2,3 goals ahead and think we can always get a comeback result even tho most of us fans always believe we can get something from any game!

But we need to tighten up our defence whether we buy real quality in the transfer window or give Huth Delaetand Morgan a kick up the arse, or do we drop 1or two I'm not a fan of changing a decent squad but we have to do something about leaking silly goals of which some should never have gone for eg Morgan's attempted karate kick clearance that let stokes second be scored.

I'm disappointed with Inler so far we had such high hopes of him but there is still time, Kante looks the real deal such a live wire and to think he can only get better, Mahrez has been a revelation and with Vardys form only helped on by his international duties.

We are currently third in the premier league now only 3 points behind Manchester City and only behind West Ham with goal difference who would of thought that the beginning of August to how well we have performed now we have West Ham at the KP in the cup on Tuesday so do we try a different formation of players at the back or do we give Delaet Morgan and Huth a bit longer ?

We have had an awesome season so far and may it continue for a long time to come !!

Onwards and Upwards and in Claudio we trust !!

The manager needs to start the best team, instead of playing the worst player in the last game, only having to take him off when we're 2-0 down.

Claudio needs to get in a new CB in Janury to replace Morgan or Huth. I personally prefer Huth to Morgan and I think Morgan played bad against Stoke. Are offence is strong with Vardy, Mahrez, Okazaki and Dyer, but our defence needs a solid CB.

Morgan has one bad game (it seems) and he needs to be replaced. Was he not MOTM for some vs Villa? I'm all for discussion and debate, but I am afraid that for some people - to paraphrase Einstein - a spinal cord suffices

I admit Morgan only played bad yesterday but you have seen how many goals we have conceded because of our defence. If we're going to start picking up some more 3 points our defence needs some work and I think we can get a better replacement for Morgan. We have not had any big challenges so far this season but when we start to play bigger clubs with strong attacks our defence won't be able to cope.

Claudio's still working out his best startling line up and formation but his mid-game tactics and substitutions have been spot on and inspired so far. I think he's seen the last few games (Bournemouth, Villa & Stoke) as opportunities to tinker with the XI against weaker opposition and has been surprised that we've gone behind each time, but has managed to fix it each time. Arsenal is our biggest test so I'm sure he'll have it pretty much nailed on for then. I hope.

"We have not had any big challenges this season"

Sorry, but this is poppycock

Most of the teams we have played so far, were expected to do far better than us this season, considering that we were the bookies favourite to go down

No we weren't.

Many of the 'pundits' had us nailed on for relegation, but not the bookies.

We were about 5th favourites for the drop weren't we?  That hardly screams "this team will be fine".

Sunderland, Villa, Bournemouth were going to finish higher than us? Three clubs we have played so far. We haven't played against any club yet who will end up in the top 4. Spurs and West Ham were tough but neither of them I would consider a real "challenge". Stoke are about the same level as us.

Probably coming across as a little pedantic now, but if  the pundits had said we'll finish 15th/16th then I don't think we'd have been too upset

I wasn't.  Seemed fairly reasonable.

The defence aren't the only players responsible for keeping the ball out of the net, Inler didn't follow Bojan.

And th ball shouldn't even have reached Morgan as Huth let the ball bounce.
