Bettsj2 Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 Absolutely agreed with everything Jacob Reece Mogg said tonight especially on the 'negotiations' with the EU. I can see Piers Morgan hosting QT when Dimbleby finishes.
Guest MattP Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 The Mogg was at his best last night, his Dimbleby Eton put down was a classic.
Darkon84 Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 The Mogg was at his best last night, his Dimbleby Eton put down was a classic. Right, time to get iPlayer on then. I was out last night so missed it. Didn't even realise The Mogg was on it, he's bloody fantastic!
Guest MattP Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 He's everything you want from a Tory MP, intelligent, smart, courteous and articulate. In other news Douglas Carswell has said UKIP needs a new leader and change of direction, don't see him and Farage still representing the party in 6 months.
SMX11 Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 Tbh if UKIP is to survive and evolve Farage needs to go. He should have gone after the election and allowed someone take the reigns.
Guest MattP Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 I agree, he's passed the end if his shelf life now.

Guest MattP Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 Corbyn does go to dinner with arms dealers, the IRA and Hamas for a start, they just buy their arms on the black market.

Bellend Sebastian Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 Just a couple of mates having a chat. Nothing to worry about. http://www.theguardian.com/media/2015/dec/18/george-osborne-rupert-murdoch-bbc-cuts-news-corp Why can't the silly old **** just die? Same goes for Murdoch, etc
Guest MattP Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 You seriously hoping people die? Come on mate.
Alf Bentley Posted 18 December 2015 Posted 18 December 2015 Murdoch's mother only died a couple of years ago, aged 103, so he might be around for a while yet.
Guest MattP Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 It's irrelevant anyway isn't it? Have you ever read "full disclosure" Paul by Andrew Neil? Great read based on his time as Sunday Times editor mainly. I miss your posts by the way, hope you and family are good.

If Murdoch popped his clogs, some other git would step into his shoes. Not read the Neil book, but am sure it would be very good. I've got a pile of books waiting to be read. Thanks for your compliment and concern. I'm fine. Was away in Dublin for a week, now caught up with Xmas preps. Will be back boring the arse off everyone and arguing with you very soon. Not sure what to make of Carswell v. Farage. Carswell could reach voters that Farage will never reach (intelligent libertarians / disillusioned mainstream voters), but might lose the angry, disillusioned populist / social conservative vote that Farage attracts. Carswell reckons he's not interested in being leader himself, though. I wonder if he's got someone else in mind to be leader other than him or Farage? Must meet for a drink again some time, alcoholic or otherwise. I'm still off the booze (nearly 7 months) but have been wavering recently. Sometimes life just gets too dull and frustrating (LCFC aside - unbelievable season, though I'd settle right now for us ending January with the same squad as now).

Thracian Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Are naked girlies involved and even if not and you two are paying, can I come???? I promise to behave myself???? Sounds like a lively gathering....
Rincewind Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Sounds like a lively gathering.... It will be indeed. Taking sophistication to a new level.
Rincewind Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 I'm not in the same league. I am the Nottingham Forest of naked girls gathering.
Thracian Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Haha - you could be "the Barcelona", but you'd still not get a kick against Singhy!

We'll definetely meet up for a drink before the end of the season, it would be too rude not to after how this one has gone. The UKIP leadership debate is going to be very interesting, from what a gather Farage still has huge support among the grassroots but the higher you get the less he has (reminds me of another party) Carswell would be a better leader for this age but I just don't see someone as pro-immigration as him being able to garner key support from people who have supported the party with that attitude, Suzanne Evans is the one I would put money on. Dan Hodges has finally dropped his Labour membership as well! - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/Jeremy_Corbyn/12051510/Jeremy-Corbyn-has-become-the-Lefts-Enoch-Powell.html?utm_source=Guy+Fawkes%27+Blog+List&utm_campaign=97ce781624-happy+hour&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_547885726c-97ce781624-229965805
