I'm genuinely gutted.

Could happily watch him in floods of tears during his post match interview following a defeat for ever.

Apparently it's the committee's fault for signing the players and making Villa take one point from home matches against Sunderland, WBA, Stoke and Swansea.

He's just been shit. No better than Lambert who was slagged off, just shows pashun and media bollocks gets you an easier ride. If Ranieri had the same record he'd be villified, told to fvck off and get someone in who knows the league.

Why is it the committee's fault when the team/ signings are bad but barely praised when they are good?

If Pearson goes to Villa Shakespeare and Walsh will not be far behind which could be catastrophic for us.

Have you spoken to Shakespeare and Walsh? Cos I wouldn't bet on that.

Villa might well prove a poisoned challice whereas Leicester looks a fairly sound bet for sustained progress backed by sound money and commitment.

Also would Villa want a PR magician like Pearson post Sherwood even if they don't ever learn the full reasons for our owners parting company with him?

I'm not at all sure Shakespeare and Walsh can be spoken for. They might well enjoy working in the current set-up rather than volunteering to join a club which even its owner wants to sell.

With the current Villa situation I'm not sure who would want to take the risk of managing them. Rebuilding a rebuild in mid-season with the help of a wallet that wants out is a seriously loaded dice without rock-solid guarantees .

Lambert, Sherwood, spent money on some so called sure fire players, they've all looked poor.

Benteke, Delph have gone, the better players from the squad.

Lescott and Richards looked like good investments, against city these 2 and the team as a whole played well in the 1st half.

Same yesterday. But unlike Pearsons- foxes and Ranieris-foxes, they have looked good then imploded.

City in these one and quarter seasons, with sometime shakey defensive play, have never been turned over.

Swansea away 2-0, last season we were outclassed, some other games we were 2nd best, but never imploded.

A.Villa with all their rescources, should be the top Midlands club, they have had some stylish players, but continually

over a few years now, there consistency, in holding some stability have died, they have shown promise, then lost it.

I dont think its just the Managers, its something deeper.

It could be they need a manager who has personality, and takes up a dictator role, and stops being friends with the players,

its all been too cosy for my liking.

Pearson, might just be the type of manager, who could go in, say yes on my terms and

state ' my and your jobs start here' mentality.

It wont deliver a top 6 place, but could well save their @rse and get them in top 14.

Rodgers, Moyes, no.

Unknown as yet foreigner maybe.

But what the hell its their fault, their problem .!!!!

I am enjoying us, being the top Midland club, and deservingly to boot.

Like the film with Gene Kelly......We are singing in the Ranieri, just singing in the Ranieri.

Hey we could use that as our song for Claudio

Tim Sherwood is an absolute lunatic and I wouldn't be surprised if he never worked in football again. I think he will set up a market stall in the east end and I think he will **** that up and then he will prob get work as a self employed yodel delivery driver but he would cry when he inevitably ****s up his first delivery. Then he will prob just sit in a dark room and cry and leave voice mail after voice mail to his little lover Jack Grealish.

Did he run over your cat, or forgot to leave you a tip, maybe worse ????

What's wrong with that exactly?

Know someone who earns over £50 a day, on average, who works six hours.

Nothing is wrong with it, I'm saying he couldn't do it.

Apparently some dick on Sunday Supplement was saying things like 'Villa are a huge club and shouldn't be losing to teams like Leicester'.

I don't even know where to start with that, needless to say this weekend has emphasised that there are some awful people working in football punditry and journalism.

And You being the prime human example, of sanity.

Steve Bates from the People. He's a clueless twat, seen him uttering bullshit before. Went on this morning when asked how Rooney is currently playing and at what stage is he at in his career, began to reel off all his records which has **** all to do with how he's playing now or if he's on an upward or downwards curve in terms of his career.

Tim will be back, English managers don't actually fail in the eyes of the football punditry world. They either do well against the made-up odds or are let down by committees of people who've never played the game.

He would be best suited for the Championship tbh

Cant see him getting a prem job for a while.

Bye bye cpt. Bellend

It would break my heart to see Pearson go there.

Luckily Villa have never taken a great Leicester City Manager on after leaving us!

Oh fvck!

Shame as I saw things getting even worse over the coming weeks with their fixture list. Wanted to see how far his self destruction could go.

I think they're too far gone for anyone to save them. They've been on the brink of it for years now and have showed little or no improvement.

Their squad is pretty gash and I cant see them having loads of dough in January and even if they did, they'll be pretty low on the list of that type of club players will want to go to.

Its a poisoned chalice for anyone.

Lerner wont invest any more than the bare minimum in a club he is looking to sell.

Their fall down the table goes back really to O'Neill leaving. The money dried up, squad got weaker, managers got worse, impossible to stop the rot.

Never heard of this garde bloke

Former Arsenal defender.
