Frank to be Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 Not a chance it'll be Pearson, they'll be looking for someone vastly more proven in the premier league. Pearson's only shot at a PL job was Sunderland, and he wasn't even close to getting that.
Itsthejoeker Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 If Pearson goes to Villa Shakespeare and Walsh will not be far behind which could be catastrophic for us. Yep, leave the in form team with a real chance. To follow their mate to possibly the worst side the premier league has seen for a long time. As if.
Guest Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 Rodgers, Moyes, any random foreigner will be ahead of him. but would they take it?
weller54 Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 Rodgers rides in to save the day but they drop into the Championship where they belong after the last couple of seasons.... Up the City...... With Trigger (and his new broom head?)...
foxfanazer Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 Not sure it's the right job for him. He's a builder of a club and they haven't got that time.
Freesolo Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 It will be a championship manager or someone from abroad can't really see Pearson in the loop
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 Has he got any managerial experience at all? If not and they give it him, Derbys record might be under threat. Sheerwood had next to no experience and that didn't stop him getting the job.
m4DD0gg Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 I doubt very much whether villa or any other premiership team would touch pearson with a barge pole. Tactically crap and a PR nightmare.
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 Bloody Hell! All the bollox Sherwood has been spouting as the big I AM, to be sacked so soon... lol lol I'm expecting Brendan Rogers to go there?
Bayfox Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 Stan colly more just tweeted. Remi garde in advanced talks with villa
Jattdogg Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 RodgersVilla after pool? Big drop but then he aint getting a top 5 team outside of a Tottenham type club. I say he is favourite unless its "too soon" for him.I think its really between him and moyes
Matt Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 Posted a tweet in the other thread saying Dwight Yorke wants the job. Would not mind that one bit. That would be truely amazing, now it's not like me to write people off before they've got chance to prove otherwise but that would arguably be more car crash than with Sherwood in charge.
whoareyaaa Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 I doubt very much whether villa or any other premiership team would touch pearson with a barge pole. Tactically crap and a PR nightmare. what a load of tosh.
m4DD0gg Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 what a load of tosh. Nothing incorrect with that statement.
Izzy Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 Shame. I was quite enjoying Sherwoods weekly meltdowns.
Guest Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 Nothing incorrect with that statement. Apart from most of it
Donut Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 Remi Garde as short as 1/5 with some bookmakers, Pearson basically nowhere in the markets.
m4DD0gg Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 Yup of course, so the man who has a practical melt down every time he faces a tough question in the press and makes a fool of himself and the fact his woeful tactical decisions nearly cost us relegation last season.
Fox in the North Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 Yup of course, so the man who has a practical melt down every time he faces a tough question in the press and makes a fool of himself and the fact his woeful tactical decisions nearly cost us relegation last season. 1) the meltdown is a vast exaggeration; considering he handled most press conferences well and the ones where he did not are very notable 2) his tactical decisions ultimately worked out if you count the whole of the season. Pearson had his moments, but don't make him sound totally incompetent.
Guest Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 don't see why moyes or Rodgers would take a team that is going down to the championship.
lcfc81 Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 To be fair he said something on MoD yesterday that made me think the writing was on the wall. The interviewer said something like, your on a bit of a hole aren't you? He replied, I'm not in a hole it's the football club that's in a hole and has been for a long time! (Or something along those line). It just sounded odd and a little arrogant.
AKCJ Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 I'm genuinely gutted. Could happily watch him in floods of tears during his post match interview following a defeat for ever.
Vicki Vixen Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 This is hilarious. Both Tim's demise and the pathetic list of candidates being put forward as a replacement.
