Sherwood Sacked by Villa

That salute, again:

Honestly, whatever line of work you're in, can you imagine having any respect for a manager who indulges in such antics? Very David Brent.

Fair play to Chris Ramsey, though, as he just seems to be shielding his eyes, trying to work out who Adebayor is.....another prat, Chris, that's who he is. You're surrounded by them.

Pity really cos Captain Bellend would have taken them down.

Thing is, long term, I think Pearson would have been excellent for either Sunderland or Villa. However, I don't think he's the best person for an instant impact. He's a squad builder and that takes time.

Think if he'd gone to Sunderland they'd probably have dropped but he'd have cleared the crap and had them in better shape when they came back up.

Genuinely think he's right as well. I reckon he'll get at least one more crack at a tidy job after the media hide him beneath a wave of "wasn't his fault."

More than likely.

Sherwood is a bit of a media darling. A bit of a modern day Harry Redknapp.

He'll get another job at some point.

Rumours he's going to take the Swindon Town job lol

I think people would have more respect for him if he managed at a lower level and worked his way up. I think he is mates with the chairman at Swindon which is probably the reason for the link.

I'm somewhat sad it's going to take a while until we get to see a pre-match or - even better - post-match interview with Tim Sherwood again.

I already miss the guy - what a media persona.

Bit of a stint at Tottenham as his first job and all of a sudden that means he is a Premiership standard manager. Clearly been found out that it doesn't work like that.

Shame he got sacked, was quite amusing seeing him fail at Villa.

If he goes anywhere near England I hope we crash and burn.

I reckon he'll end up at Blackburn.

Can see him wanting the England job, or being part of back room staff etc.

I also want the England job and I think i'm better qualified for it.

Good shout Blackburn, he might end up going back there.

or non-league.

The only way for him to rebuild his initial problem solver reputation from his Tottenham days is to keep a low profile and start anew in a lower league, maybe as low as League Two, and then work his way back up - if he's actually and genuinely interested in remaining a professional football manager, that is.

He's lost so much credibility over the past few months - sometimes, it's as if he's purposefully acting as a human hoax in the footballing world, wondering how much longer he can maintain the masquerade. :D

Find it starnge that all the blame is on Sherwood and not the owners too.  They lack ambition and have for years and then theres the ridiculas transfer policy they board implimented over the summer.  I think peoples dislike of sherwood is clouding the issue on what really went on there.

It only seems to be opposition fans, such as on here, where Sherwood is getting the blame. Most of the things I've heard on the radio from ex-pros and people in the game have been aiming the blame at the board. Randy Lerner only met Sherwood once, for example, bloody ONCE! lol How can you trust a guy to manage your football club if you have zero relationship whatsoever.

After the details of Adama Traores contract have come out today, I think a lot more people will point the finger towards the board etc. Though we still shouldn't forget that Shwerwood was, is and always will be an absolute horseshit manager

Even so, given that, it's ridiculous of him to act as smug as he did.
