My initial reaction upon discovering this thread: I've automatically come to the conclusion that the thread starter wants to justify growing cannabis at home.

 

(And obviously, I haven't been the only one :D )

Spider plants seem to flourish with a minimum of care. If you want one that doesn't need a lot of watering you could try an African Violet, only downside is that they flower very occasionally. Good talking point though.

if my wife was on this forum you'd get a very long list, she's the one with green fingers.

Draceana (Dracaena? I dunno), often called Dragon plant is easy and usually has variegated (i.e. stripey) leaves and looks nice.  Just remember to turn it round every week or so to stop it growing off to one side towards the light, making it look all gone wrong

stripey and called dragon plant, sounds like it might be a winner. good advice though don't want no bent plant. to go with my venus fly trap. 

 

can't believe how many people think id advertise that i was growing cannabis in my new flat am not an idiot.
