Home support

My Uncle is an Everton fan so I went with him to watch their game against Sunderland earlier today. The home support was really poor, the Everton fans barely sang and seemed really frustrated when the side were just keeping the ball. Really makes you appreciate how good the atmosphere has been at the KP recently. This has probably been said countless times.

We're right up there for home atmosphere in England. Regardless of how it's created, it's rare that you get noise from all four stands like we're getting now.

I was in the home end at WBA yesterday. The only singing from home fans came from those in the same stand as our lot. Our fans were their usual brilliant selves

think the chant goes 'your support is fucking shit'.

your version would be very hard to sing @@SystonFox

How on earth are you going to sing an italics c?

Your support is fu italics c King shit!!!!!!!

Both the Twat, you're shit ahhhh and your support is fvcking shit chants make me cringe. Completely aware that swearing is inevitable at football and that it's the parents decision with regards to allowing children to hear it but With the amount of great chants we've got I just can't help but feel a bit awkward when I hear it.

You hit the nail on the head when you say swearing is inevitable at football. Parents have got to take responsibility and make children aware that swearing is not acceptable from THEM - inside or outside a football stadium. Others should not have to concern themselves with parenting other peoples' kids.

I'll never forget as a 6/7 year old leading 'the referee's a wanker' chant after Shearer attempted to decapitate Lennon. Everyone around us found it hilarious - I couldn't understand why my dad was so livid, threatened never to take me again. I didn't swear again at Filbert St...

That said I completely agree with you about the chants being terrible. The worst I have ever heard is 'you're fvcking shit, you're fvcking shit' to the tune of Everywherewegooooo that Southampton seem to love singing. I almost topped myself when we sang that at Hull having watched them outplay us for 105 minutes.

The goal kick chant is a classic Leicester chant, it's part of the make up of the club.

And it genuinely gets to some keepers. Rob Green anyone?

As far as opposition fans are concerned, I have not been impressed with an clubs this year with the possible exception of Arsenal.

We outsung the home fans on Saturday and I think the fans are the main reasons why we are doing so well. We continue to dominate the opposition fans every game. We is massive!

Thought it was quite flat against Palace until the last 5 minutes. I hope people aren't getting bored of making an effort!

It's surely one for the under 12s. It got pretty tired in the 90s

Southampton, Swansea, Leicester top 3 imo.

Worst Everton, Liverpool and Chelsea not far behind last season.

Were you there at Soton?! Silent all game...

Yes... no they wasnt.. they was loud all game.

There were about 20 kids to the left of us making some noise but that was it. Heard nothing from any other part of the ground singing "You're *ucking $hit" and having all of us ramming it back down their throats.

As someone that has regularly bemoaned our atmosphere in the past and have looked back at Filbert Street with rose tinted glasses, I am very happy to eat humble pie.

I think our atmosphere pretty much since the promotion season, but especially since the tail end of last season, has been the best in the league.

I think Sheff Weds are probably the only team to challenge us in terms of home support.

I have been most disappointed with Liverpool last season (Anfield was a sad excuse of a football crowd) and Southampton were poor in my opinion.

I am not against the clappers, as they have helped involve more people. In fact in the area I'm in at the back of the family stand, less people are using the clappers more are now just clapping.

Well done to Union FS, for the years I went in the L block and in the Family Stand, we would very rarely hear the kop, now though Union FS have the kop joining them and the whole atmosphere is improving.

Everyone please keep it going, I'm loving the atmosphere home and away.

Since Union FS have started out, they have added to the atmosphere in our ground superbly. More people are and have been getting involved. L1's efforts continue to be great, and it's good as well now that the atmosphere is good in the Kop. I have noticed the atmosphere is well spread around the ground, and fair play I think that is the clappers positive effect.
