A bigger stadium, what are the options?

I'd give it 5 years of sustained Premier League stability before considering stadium expansion.

We have consistently filled the KP for a season and a half, but last season was our first in the PL for a decade, and this season we are flying. Of course, people will come in their thousands when those things happen. If we are still selling out in 4 years time once we've (hopefully) stabilised our PL status then definitely expand the stadium.

It was only two years ago that 19,153 people watched us beat Blackburn in the league at the KP. Our support is as fickle as anyones, and it's hard to see how demand for tickets at the KP is sustainable at current levels.

Good post, and I fully agree.

Gate receipts are not the be all and end all now with TV revenue making this small change, we are now an established premier league side and there is 100 million reasons plus to support this claim, 32k gets the ground rocking so why not try for 42 45k a game

Strike while the iron is hot. If it's just additionak tiers they can be closed if not sold out

How would that work? Say we sold 35k instead of 40k (or whatever the expansion capacity would be) for a particular game, these people would need that additional tier open to use?

If its closed you dont sell 35k, you only open it if there is demand.
