bald reynard Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 I did think that Fuchs might move to the centre (he has played there a few times in his career), but have just heard that Jeff S is out injured for a while, so we won't have left back cover. Like others, I think I'd prefer Was, simply because he's what we know, but there have good reports of Benalouane (I haven't seen him). It'd be a gamble to pick him, but I reckon Claudio will go for him.
filbertway Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Have to factor in that Was is about 80 now as well, if Terry is getting slaughtered by people Was won't be much different. He was playing as part of a back 3 at the back end of last season. I love the man and his controlled psychotic ways, but I feel like people are playing him up a bit too much. Also I know that he was rated as one of the fastest players over about 2 steps last season but that doesn't mean he is quick over 10-20 yards.
fuchsntf Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Wasi or Benny, opinions on both sides have good arguments. Descision, Claudio will have someone in his minds eye, but he will wait with the coaches, to see how the training sessions pan out. WASI would normally be my man, not once since November last season has he let us down.Noway off pace. Benny, he gives us the slightly longer future, now we need to know..!!! HE alone wouldnt lose us a game we are top, we are away, this game for me is a freeby, Fuchs more than Morgan can help him. If he has a good week build up, he should be played. Though if its Wasi I would be the last to moan.luv the guy. Or Claudio takes the big man, and puts him back....Kante, he could run between their legs n bite their balls
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 I'd play Wasyl, never let us down in the past and knows Wes' game. It'll most probably be Benny though, will be good to see how he gets on.
Fox92 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Huth is a big loss. I'm not convinced by his potential replacements.
Swiper Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 I think Benny is a higher risk, higher reward option than Was. I've been extremely impressed with his upbeat attitude even when he wasn't making the bench. It's time to see what we've got with him.
M0901 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Bennie - has been waiting for his chance and I'd pick him for his attitude alone
EnglishOxide Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Was for me. We know he's physical and he might shut Lukaku down.
