AyewJoking Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 has was played yet? maybe in the lame cup. I thought Benny was a right back???????????????
ScouseFox Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 id love benny to play and be great ive waited all season for this
Benguin Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 Benny, just been reading his twitter, unbelievable spirit would live him to get a chance
foxinsox Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 I think Was had a great season last year. I love the bloke. Lukaku will not get past him. Benny is more unknown, we don't want to give too much away.
Clever Fox Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 I'm sure Benny was signed on Ranieri's say so. So i suspect it will be Benny. He'a actually a good footballer I just hope he doesn't get too clever and give away a goal.
TJB-fox Posted 14 December 2015 Posted 14 December 2015 It will be Benalouane and I'm more than happy with that. Think he's got the potential to be a great centre half for us and it seems he has the same brilliant attitude as the rest of the squad judging by his social media
dylanlegend Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Everton aren't a quick side so I reckon Wasyl with be fine against them, plus beast. But I wouldn't either or will be fine. Shame about Huth though.... Big loss
foxes21 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Win lose or draw it has to be Benny, just for his post match twitter update.
LCCFox96 Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Benalouane. He's waited for his opportunity and I've been quite impressed with him in the cup games he has started tbh. He's looked a little rash, particularly coming on as an impact sub to close the game out, but nothing to say he's hugely out of his depth. Think he'd relish the opportunity and I'd back him to take it.

I was not impressed with Benny at all when he was being brought on at RB early in the season, but when he played in his preferred centre-half in the cup, I thought he looked a class act at times. I like Was, but I think Benalouane could be a class above. I won't be shocked if he plays his way into the first XI.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Big Was for me, was terrific for us at times last season, wouldn't be exactly in tears if it was Benny, think both are capable of doing a job.
Hollism Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 I'd rather have Was up against Lukaku tbh, happy with either though. There's no way Huth would've gone 4 games without a yellow so at least we should have him back for Liverpool and Man City
NewEnglandFox Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 As much as I love Wasyl, sometimes he forgets whether he's playing the Foxes or the Tigers.
lcfcsnow Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Benalouane concerns me. I can't see us going 90 minutes without conceding at least one penalty with him in defence. With Morgan and Wasyl they have at least played a number of games together, less of a risk there but still wouldn't be comfortable. Huths a massive massive loss he's brought out the best in Morgan since he arrived.
Harry - LCFC Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Ugh, players out. This is a strange feeling. I don't like it.
richardsfoxes Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Dont think we've seen enough of benny to be able to judge him to much, lets not forget people on this board pointed the finger at Fuchs pre season games and that game in the league cup and he's turned out to be the best left back we've had since bruno in my opinion.
Grewks Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 Give Benny a go. I can remember the problems wickham gave wasyl up at hillsborough, lukaku on top of his game would destroy him. Sometimes 'unpredictability' can be an advantage, so benny it is.

Sometimes 'unpredictability' can be an advantage, so benny it is. Unpredictability isn't a desirable trait at CB. Defending is a responsive task, defenders try to respond to and/or anticipate what attackers are doing. The bland routine of cover, press, mark and clear is the order of the day. It isn't a place where you want a player to do something out of the ordinary. Also, Wasilewski was excellent when he was in the team late last season. I think it's rather unfair to pick one game to use as evidence of him being 'not good enough'.
Merging Cultures Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 I would love Was to fill in, but it will be Benny.
LCFC FOX Posted 15 December 2015 Posted 15 December 2015 This will be the hardest game before new year imo, who ever comes in for him will have a very tough time
