But Daka, for example, arrived for more than £20m and yet has not started more than six league games in a row during four seasons at the club.

The quality of possession and passing may play a key part in emerging as victors in this fixture, and Leicester can safely know that among the 103 players in the Championship this season to have attempted 100+ passes, no player holds a better pass accuracy rate than Leicester’s Harry Winks (96.3%), while teammate Boubakary Soumaré ranks second (93.4%).

Soumare's are little 5 yard passes to Jannik or Okoli or to Winks lol

At least Winks tries to break through the lines and gets the ball forward.

When football resumes after the international break, City will play their first competitive game against Oxford United in more than 31 years.

Just had a quick look on Squawka, Winks does play more forward passes, but also more sideways passes than Soumaré.

Winks has more touches and is much more forward thinking than under Maresca, whereas it's clear that Soumaré is playing Ndidi's old role under Cifuentes.

2-2 Oxford (a)

0-0 Cov (h)

1-1 WBA (a)

First time we've drawn 3 in a row in the league since the 2008-09 season!

(Happened twice that year, both of those runs started with draws against Oldham Athletic)

The run continues...

Now 4 draws in a row for the first time since the 2004-05 season, when there was a 6 draw run

We sacked Adams after the first one, and Levein was appointed just before the last one, leaving the amazing Dave Basset managing the other 4

Trevor Benjamin playing up front, our striking options are not much better now

6 draws on the trot in the league is an LCFC record…

Only 3 to go!

John Swift's first goal for Portsmouth.

This is now the fourth game in a row where a player has scored their first goal of the season/for their new club against us.

What's slightly depressing is I opened this thread at the 'last unread' section and it took me to page 31 summer 2016 - all the stats were of how we won the Premier League and now we're stuck with... this!

Leicester have lost nine home league games in 2025 – only twice before have they lost more: 10 in both 1914 and 2007.

Watford makes 10

Will Derby be 11?
