Strokes Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 I believe it's a badelynge. Migrants and ducks. Badelynge. Doesn't roll off the tongue well enough though bov, we need a rethink pal. Can I count on your support for plague?
Alf Bentley Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Doesn't roll off the tongue well enough though bov, we need a rethink pal. Can I count on your support for plague? Given the record high levels of immigration under the Tories, perhaps it should be a "cameron of migrants"?

Could be controversial, think we need some endorsements from celebrities associated with kindness and charity, maybe Ian Botham and Helen Mirran.
David Guiza Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 https://twitter.com/DanRebellato/status/692475434290778114 Great work from the Mail. Even squeezed in a nice gender roles article for extra nonsense.
Guest MattP Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 I've been away for a few days but I've got this right that people have gone mental over the Prime minister saying the word bunch?
Rincewind Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 I've been away for a few days but I've got this right that people have gone mental over the Prime minister saying the word bunch? Yep that is right. What is wrong with calling a group of refugees 'just a bunch of migrants'? After all that is all they are. Over reaction again. I think we all agree on that.
Guest MattP Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 Group of refugees? They are in France, you cease to be a refugee as soon as you arrive in a safe country. To be honest I'm more interested in Jeremy Corbyn explaining why he believes these people should be allowed to move from one safe nation to another and why the British taxpayer should foot the bill, what do we offer that France doesn't?

Guest MattP Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 Well now you put it like that Ken let's get millions of them. Especially when most of them are coming from a place with such sporting prowess as Syria. Doesn't matter that we are skint and thousands will suffer at the hands of these people, if we get a decent sportsperson it's obviously worth it.
Finnegan Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Problem solved. Some Italian village in Piedmont wants to give free housing to anyone who'll move there. I'm assuming their welcoming gesture is open to everyone.

Not to be pedantic, but they are asylum seekers until they become refugees. I don't think they stop being refugees until they become a citizen of another country, or get a different visa. I think they are refusing to be processed in France, and therefore are still asylum seekers/migrants. Hence the uproar about the living spaces that require biometrics to enter. They think it is a way of processing them.

No problem If the latter is true it really does show how ridiculous the situation has got, people we are supposed to believe are on the run in fear for their lives and they refuse to be processed in a country like France.

Guest MattP Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 To be fair, would you stop in France? Only providing I was at least fifty miles from FIF.
Finnegan Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Only providing I was at least fifty miles from FIF. Only fifty?
Guest MattP Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Only fifty? Big country actually, maybe 150. I have thought about Chantilly for retirement in the past, if anyone is ever in Paris it's one of the most beautiful places to visit, not that far on the train either.

It is exactly the problem. They are there in France, they should be processed, they refuse to be. Why? Because they are not refugees. They want to get in to the UK and disappear, build a life and then claim 'human rights'. The system is broken, the borders should be shut, and people there illegally should be sent home.
Guest Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Only providing I was at least fifty miles from FIF. Come on Matt, you'd happily have a drink with me.

From what I understand they don't want to be processed in France because they don't want to live in France they want to join FAMILY in England. As a judge said yesterday - they are economic migrants, looking for work.

Some have family, but that doesn't mean they should have the right to access the UK.For me to stay with my wife in the US I'd need to apply for a green card, to stay in Zambia I had to apply for a spouse visa. I couldn't just force my way in to the countries, or just turn up.
Guest MattP Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 I'd have a drink with anyone FIF. I'll post the link later on but Swedish authorities have been found to be blocking stories over the Internet reporting the murder of the 22 year old girl by a 15 year old migrant. We really are living in a astonishing time, they will stop at nothing to achieve their aims.
Guest MattP Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 I have family in Australia, I'm not allowed to just go there though.

I didn't say that it was right for them to have access to the UK I just pointed out the reason they didn't want to stay in France which you didn't seem to have expressed. To the contrary I think they should be damned lucky to have the chance to live in France.

And yes, if they qualified to stay in France, they'd be very lucky.

As regards the Swedish story maybe they are doing it because it would just be used as a cane for the migrants . As a Birmingham mp said in the papers this morning - rapes like in Germany on news years eve happen every day in Birmingham. It's not the migrant's in particular that are the problem - it's men! I'm sure you've seen that social experiment in the US repeated in Europe where a person pretends to be a drunk attractive woman who is lost and every man just tries to get her in the sack. No-one helps her because she is lost (or drunk).
