Guest Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 So that's still a no then. Correct. why should I play your stupid anti-rincey game? I find it sad that you are part of a few ganging up on an old man.
Guest MattP Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Pretty piss poor diversion really that. I don't think asking someone to clairfy a position really counts as ganging up on someone but I realise we have a different outlook on life.

As an outside looking in Webbo, yourself and a couple of others just seem to pick on Rincey. It reeks of a form of bullying.

I think Ken is more than capable of defending himself. It's the internet, not a fcuking school playground, we had a kid at primary school who everyone use to pick up, turn upside and then squeeze his chest until he passed out or went into a trance, when he awoke a few seconds later we'd all be kicking him in, that's bullying, not asking someone for a point of view on the internet.

I don't bully Ken at all. I've done a lot as a mod to protect Ken in the past. If you're going to try and belittle other's arguments then you're fair game. If you can't take it, don't give it out.

He gave you his point of view. You couldn't understand it. Anyway we're sidetracking. Back to the theme.

Rincewind Posted 5 February 2016 Posted 5 February 2016 He was basically agreeing with one of Thracian's boring posts about unreported attacks. Funny thing is Thrach said he never understood yet I quoted him which means he does not understand himself either. Anyway it is done with now. Lets move on.

Guest MattP Posted 5 February 2016 Posted 5 February 2016 http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/news/world/europe/article4682971.ece The ringleader of the November Paris attacks boasted how he returned from Syria with refugees along with 90 other terrorists, including Britons, according to the woman who reported him to police. In the first public account of her meeting with Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the woman, identified as “Sonia”, described the Belgian-Moroccan yesterday as revelling in the carnage that he had inflicted. He also talked of plans for more mayhem at a shopping centre and nursery. She described the cheerful insouciance of the 28-year-old jihadist in a radio interview as the Stade de France prepared to stage its first match since the November 13 attack there, France’s Six Nations game against Italy tomorrow. Three terrorists killed themselves at the stadium with suicide vests, also killing a passer-by, as part of the attacks, in which 130 people died. Abaaoud, believed to be the organiser of the three-team attack that included shootings at café and restaurant terraces and the Bataclan theatre, was killed in a police raid on a flat in the suburb of Saint-Denis hours after Sonia reported that he was there. Also killed were Hasna Aitboulahcen, his cousin, and another terrorist.
Ross-Kemp Posted 6 February 2016 Posted 6 February 2016 Reports of more attacks at the carnival in Cologne, witnesses say the men were of a North African descent.
Thracian Posted 7 February 2016 Posted 7 February 2016 Easy. I ask the same.Do you think all crimes are reported across the world? Do yo think the reporting of said crimes depends on the situation, person reliability evidence or status. (BBC Jimmy Saville) Do you agree with Thracian that not all attacks on girls on Birmingham trains are reported? Or attacks by migrants, or anyone else are reported? Where I stand in the forum is that those responsible for sexual attacks on women should be punished and those innocent of said crimes should not. Is that clear enough? I hope my reply did not come across the wrong way. Thracian asked the question 'How many of these incidents are not reported?p my reply was to explain that in my view not reporting a crime of this nature was not unique across the world and there were many factors involved. I have nothing more to add. What has reporting such crimes "across the world" got to do with the reporting of crime in this country? It is accepted we have crime and unreported crime committed here by own own citizens. It's a pity. I wish there wasn't any. But they're our citizens and we have to deal with them. What we don't have to do is import more crime - and particularly serious crime - along with everything that goes with it.
Rincewind Posted 10 February 2016 Posted 10 February 2016 There is a good debate going on here. Not read all the comments yet but the OP is interesting if not a long read with some good and bad points and illustrates how difficult it is to find a solution. https://www.facebook.com/emlynpearceblog/posts/1785920764972496?fref=nf I am only the messenger and the views expressed are not necessarily my own. Hyperbole I'd be proud of. As for the attacks, it's too early to tell, 900 sexual assaults in a night isn't going to be solved in a month.
Thracian Posted 16 February 2016 Posted 16 February 2016 He was basically agreeing with one of Thracian's boring posts about unreported attacks. It's a little out of date so presumably the figures are even worse now given that the population has grown. http://metro.co.uk/2010/07/20/public-is-put-off-transport-by-crime-fear-453822/

Rincewind Posted 17 February 2016 Posted 17 February 2016 Absolutely mind blowing. Pin it all on evil whitey eh Nabila Ramadani? Just another group added to the blame list. And they all think they do not have bad guys among their midst. In fact the ones that are guilty of the crimes are just evil bastards regardless of where they came from.
Merging Cultures Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 The whole argument that because rape happens already in Europe, so it doesn't matter if you let more rapists in, is rather grim.
Buce Posted 21 February 2016 Author Posted 21 February 2016 I slightly mistook your comment to read that their culture is the same as ours was 100 years ago .... which is probably not what you meant at all ! When it comes to tolerance of other peoples, their traditions, customs and views I am 100% behind it but some things are just plain wrong and we should do all within our power to try and change them. One of those things is the attitude of some to females and unfortunately when these two viewpoints collide there is a recipe for trouble. I must admit I feel very strongly about what is happening to western women in Cologne and over here and believe that if something isn't done there will be 'trouble on the streets' to put it very mildly. We must stand up for values we believe in and somehow stop the abuse of them in our society .... whether it be the way women are treated to allowing the butchering of animals by cutting their throats and letting them bleed to death. A byproduct of the migrant crisis is that unfortunately things will only get worse which is concerning. And by the way my dad was about the same ! Never mind all that - I'm more interested about the eight wives thing. Was he a Mormon? Or a serial bigamist? In fact, it's nine if you count the errant wife, so should that be biggermist?

He belonged to the latter day advent calendarists and they met regularly at the Crown & Anchor. As it was mainly men who attended maybe he was a buggermist ?!?!
