dmayne7 Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 Potentially a very easy question to answer but does anybody know whether it's possible to stream football matches (i.e. from firstrowsports and other 'unofficial' sites shall we say) on a tablet? Thinking of get a cheap Linx 8 Windows 10 tablet so I can hook it up to my tv via HDMI and stream our games. I get the feeling it comes down to being able to use Silverlight/Flash/Java etc. but maybe somebody will know whether it's possible. Thanks!
Wakeyfox Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 I manage fine on an android tablet, just have to download puffin Web browser which includes flash player. Not as keen on this as chrome, so only use it for footy streams.
Matt Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 Install kodi on it. Can you do this on an iPad do you know? When i've searched for Kodi on it the 1st result (Seems to be the best/most likely) is Constellation for XBMC, is this it? Cheers for any help!

Only if you jailbreak it, just get a cheap android tablet or box for streaming.
dmayne7 Posted 3 February 2016 Author Posted 3 February 2016 Cheers guys. Think I'll get one ordered up.
Webbo Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 I put kodi on the wife's tablet and saw the Southampton game on it this season while I was on holiday, on the hotel's wifi.
Legend_in_blue Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 I put this on my Samsung tablet last night. So far figured out the instructions to get Phoenix up and running on it. What are the best add-ons to get in general and which is best for watching the football?
Itsthejoeker Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 There's often a link on Reddit match day threads for mobile streaming
Ozwin Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 I put kodi on the wife's tablet and saw the Southampton game on it this season while I was on holiday, on the hotel's wifi. You had hotel wifi that was actually decent?
Webbo Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 You had hotel wifi that was actually decent? it took me half an hour to work out where in the lobby to sit for a decent signal.

Install the puffin Web browser on the tablet and then you can surf the Web as if you were on a desktop. Flash etc all included.
dbtcity Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 Downloaded universal tv hd on my iPad and iPhone and it seems to be working a treat, can watch all the footy, boxing and other live sports..... Only downside is the annoying adverts you have to X before getting onto the live event
GLC Posted 18 March 2016 Posted 18 March 2016 on ipad, you can download the puffin browser and go to neolive.net, it has every game
