To win the title.........

I think getting at least 2 points from the next two game would give us a great chance.

Draw both, win one etc and I think we could still be top after the two games.  If we are we then have a 9 game run where I would back us to do at least as well as the rest of the top 4.

That would then mean we would still be top with 3 games to go.  I don't want to think any further ahead than that for fear of jinxing us, but these are mighty exciting times, that's for sure!

Put another way, if we win on Saturday we can bloody do this.  :sweating::S:fc::frantics:

We are lucky to have such a leader like him, he is a big leader behind the scenes.. what Wes says goes type of thing. This is a huge thing that we have over the other top 3 teams challenging for the title..  Arsenal have no leaders at all, this has always been Arsenals problem for a very long time and why they always fail, no leaders since Viera and Adams left them. Spurs have no real big leaders in their team, and Man City do have a leader which is Kompany but he has been injured and out for so long that they lack a leader and its showed. this is a huge thing we have over them all.

Alex Ferguson always said you can;t win the prem without a a strong leader in the team and I 100% agree with him, its true.

Nah I completely agree mate. His qualities stretch further than being a good defender. He's a leader of our team and puts his body on the line every game.

I stood by him last season when others called for his head and questioned his ability to perform at the top. I'm delighted he's proven them wrong

Up the Foxes!

You're all deluded, we will obviously lose the next two games, they're against Man City

and Arsenal ffs!

We will finish fourth, Man City will win it, Spurs second, then Arsenal.

We get to the qualifying stage of the champions league and get knocked out in the

first round!

That's the reality, we all know it!

"WERE LEICESTER CITY, WE CAN'T WIN THE LEAGUE"

Based with the statistics between 1995-1996 and 2014-2015 :

Chance to win the championship with   75 points is 5%
Chance to win the championship with   95 points is 100%
Chance to win the championship with   80  points is 20 %
Chance to win the championship with   90 points is 85%

Interesting article stating tomorrow's game could be the title decider as predicted by a sports predictor machine which has apparently proved pretty accurate so far

Not sure how to see all the predictions but they list a Leicester home draw with Swansea which I'd back us to win, so I think it's interesting but wrong and we'll win the league :)

Hmm. But where would SAM have predicted we'd finish at the start of the season?

If we win tomorrow then the expected table if all teams averaged their points return in the last two seasons would look like this:

Man City 73.00pts

Leicester 72.39

Arsenal 72.09

Tottenham 69.61

Man Utd 64.83

That means there would less than a point between three of us, that would certainly make things interesting.

What's stupid about that is that it's got points tallies in decimals, which can't happen. Mean if you're so clever to devise the ****ing system, why do you make it look stupid by quoting .56 of a point! Shirley they could have devised some sort of rounding system (it also begs the question what is it predicting, clearly not a simple win, lose, draw scenario)?

The other thing that I expect 'the system' doesn't take into account is other fixtures Manchester City will have and the impact they will have. They have a cup final to play in AND at least 2 more games in the Champions League, which will divert focus from the league and have an impact on the surrounding fixtures - that's a given because of the reduced time to prepare for a fixture and put work I. On the trainning ground as well as the impact on player fitness / recovery.

The other thing I didn't spot, which given the detailed nature of the predictions in decimals is the margin of error... They must from the data gathered to date have some idea as to what that margin is and I expect it's at least around the 1 to 3 point mark - so my suspicion is, that's not quoted because that would rather kill the headline story.

The big plus to take from this I guess would be that it suggests it will be a close run thing... and if that's the case we'd all be delighted, even if missing out by a point would be possibly the worst bittersweet ending.

The best way to monitor our performances is to see if we match our results from the first part of the season.

Bournmouth: 0

Villa: -2

Tottenham: +2

Stoke: +2

Liverpool: +3

We are 5pts up.

In the first half of the season we get 39pts. Therefore our target is 78pts.

As it stands we are looking at 83pts.

Because you think we'll win against all the teams we won against in the first half. Most unlikely.

You are a pessimistic bell end. If we don't beat the teams we beat earlier in the season we don't win the league. We may not beat all of them but if we can pick up points, it gives us leeway.

Bournmouth: 0

Villa: -2

Tottenham: +2

Stoke: +2

Liverpool: +3

Man City: +2

We are now 7pts up.

As it stands 85pts.....
