Yet another sublime goal from Mahrez today but what has been your favourite moment of trickery from his incredible show-reel so far this season?

So many outrageous touches and moments of brilliance to choose from I can appreciate that it's almost an impossible task to settle on just one, but it's worth thinking about if only to reflect on the fact that we genuinely have one of the most exciting and talented players in the world at the moment playing for our club!

I know it's nowhere near the most impressive demonstration of his ridiculous technical ability, but I just loved that moment against Villa where his one little cryuff turn put three of their players on their arses  lol  It's not that often you literally laugh out loud watching football.

It's still putting QPR's Karl Henry on his arse last May. he went down like a sack of spuds as he back peddled and Riyad didn't even touch the ball. Hysterical. (Clearly, no one had told Riyad who this fella was)

Some of the less obvious stuff where he just glides past players is quality. Not necessarily an outrageous party trick but just great control in a tight area with a burst of pace.

Like there was a really basic one against West Ham, second game of the season, where the ball came to him on the right and the defender was closing him down. He touch one touch to control it like he was going to face him up, then immediately knocked it past him and skinned him. So simple, yet so beautiful to watch because he did it so brilliantly and the defender was totally taken by surprise.

Although don't get me wrong, stuff like megging people and leaving people on their arses is fantastic.

He's got a very unique style.

His goal against City... Just at the start of the stepover he slightly drops the shoulder. That's what put the defender on the wrong foot and allowed the space for the shot. A normal stepover without the drop of the shoulder wouldn't have worked.

Its not just is amazing skills and goal his passing is excellent too especially his weighted passes which are extremely hard to do when putting the ball in behind a defender for someone to run onto, his seems to lay so effortlessly as if he isn't even thinking at times and just gets int a zone where he can see things way ahead of time

He worked his ass off getting back today. He is almost inevitably on the wrong side to start with, because of his attacking role and intent, but I reckon he ran hard in both directions. Maybe he has been watching Shinji!  :D

He is as gifted as I've seen in a Leicester shirt. Worthington could be just as outrageous, if not more so, but sadly most of his stuff is not on camera.

he just does everything in slow motion just incredible.

this is a good description. he looks at times like he's playing in a different dimension to everyone else, and everyone watching. his movement and persona couldn't look anymore effortless but it's ridiculously effective.

i've never seen anything like it. i've seen a lot of the best players ever to play in this league live (torres, suarez, henry, ronaldo etc) but i've never seen anyone dribble past men with such ease as mahrez. the only current player i can think of who's got a comparable style is neymar, but even he is pretty explosive and dynamic at times.

he's just incredible.

Waiting for the creation of the ultimate Mahrez mixtape, like the AND-1 street basketball tapes of the early 2000s.

me and my brother used to love them. was just thinking about them the other day, the professor, skip to my lou, hot sauce.
