red5 Posted 27 April 2016 Posted 27 April 2016 Genuine question: how many people have you bought/sold tickets to on here? How many did you then say "sold to ramboacdc" or whatever their name is? I get its a big game but people don't have to say who got their tickets. People juSt say "now sold" and that's that. If I sold you my 2 tickets to Everton and said "sold to red5" you would either be targeted for people wanting to buy from your or people accusing you of being a tout because they are annoyed I didn't sell to them. Everyone's emotions are running high and it's not bringing out the best in a lot of people. This isn't what we are about or what we should do. Someone offered tickets and sold them, that's between them and the buyer and is no one else's business unless they are looking for repeat business and give them positive feedback in the feedback thread. If I was in your situation I would be annoyed too but it's either pay a tout, risk losing your money and ticket and a banning order or play by the rules here and that's that. No point saying someone that didn't sell you a ticket is a tout. Just sounds like toys are being thrown from the pram. I have nothing against you and dont even know you personally so don't take this all as an attack on you or your person but that is how it comes across. I've sold to 2 and you being 1, I never said who I sold to as the tickets then weren't such a big thing as they are now, and I knew the people I sold to were worthy of them. And I still think it should be open as who the tickets are going to, otherwise it's open for touts to buy.

If I was a tout I would have posted open to bids and not have sold them to the first genuine fan who called me.I do feel for you guys who all seem genuine and can't get hold of tickets and maybe instead of naming the person I sold the tickets to I should name and shame the people who where offering me silly money.

And I still think it should be open as who the tickets are going to, otherwise it's open for touts to buy. i thought i had bought tickets off you! im not going nuts. its not a bigger thing. the difference is now that demand is outstripping supply. i had 2 everton away tickets i struggled to shift in december and now look at it for the return fixture! the difference is the decorum people are showing to not getting tickets. yes the club has obviously handed out somewhere and yes its not transparent but there is no reason for fans to turn on each other and call foul when they lose out.

I am not being funny mate but do you think that a tout, who is only interested in the money, is going to hang around here and put up with a battering? That person will have got his money and will have left. The reason that @@Emmolcfc is still here is because he feels affronted by the fact that he came on to sell a ticket and has got all kinds of accusations thrown at him. Or at least that is how I read it. I would say that if the person who bought the ticket wants to be known then that is his/her call and if not then it isn't down to this chap to say who it is. Also, the likely reason why the person who was sold the ticket hasn't said anything is because that person has their ticket and therefore no longer needs to check this page, or that person doesn't want to get involved in all this as they are likely to be interrogated as to whether they are actually a true enough fan! Can we just leave this now please. Looking for 2 tickets for the Everton game. Silver Member, lifelong fan etc etc... Will offer face value and an assortment of snacks and nibbles. Also, I have members on here who will vouch for me as I have bought away tickets from them previously. (would take one and leave the Mrs at home )

What I'm saying is if I get 2 tickets I'd post here that I have them and don't need any more. Anyone who doesn't post this I'll be unsure if they are going to sell on, or still look for more tickets to sell on. As in a tout.

(sorry mr luke, you were actually first past the post) got a couple of Evertonian mates potentially selling theirs, i'll point them in this direction. best of luck in a) winning the league and b) finding tickets.

Filberts lovechild Posted 27 April 2016 Posted 27 April 2016 Managed to get a ticket in the away end for well over the odds but had to do it given the circumstances. Had a few other Evertonians messaging me afterwards asking if still interested so there might be some out there still I can point you in their direction if anyone very desperate. Most I have come into contact with want / expect £150-£200 as a forewarning; I luckily got mine a bit cheaper than that.
