Collymore Posted 28 February 2016 Posted 28 February 2016 We have a great chance of getting 0 points this year. This possibly the crappest song I've heard in ages.
stevelcfc Posted 28 February 2016 Posted 28 February 2016 Shame they were chosen, there were a couple of decent acts on the long list.
Webbo Posted 28 February 2016 Posted 28 February 2016 A massive improvement on last year's effort. Not saying it'll win but it should make mid table safety.

Webbo Posted 28 February 2016 Posted 28 February 2016 Seriously? I actually preferred last year's! Seriously? This shit?
separator Posted 28 February 2016 Posted 28 February 2016 Jake Shakeshaft.. with a surname like that it was always going to be a load of wank.
Collymore Posted 28 February 2016 Author Posted 28 February 2016 Seriously? This shit? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eniaB0xchTY Yeah awful song but better than two guys singing together with absolutely no connection or chramisa to a song that logically doesn't require 2 guys to be singing together! This is how's it's done... https://youtu.be/8fgUY-kXlBA

This is how's it's done... You've just dropped 10 places in the foxestalk cool rankings in my eyes.
Leicesterpool Posted 28 February 2016 Posted 28 February 2016 It sounds and looks boring for me, I prefer it when they go for big names. I remember there was rumours that Rita Ora was interested in taking part for this year. Once again this is sign we've gave up.
Izzy Posted 28 February 2016 Posted 28 February 2016 Can't believe Eurovision has its own thread. FoxesTalk has sadly sunk to new depths today
Collymore Posted 28 February 2016 Author Posted 28 February 2016 You've just dropped 10 places in the foxestalk cool rankings in my eyes.I'll settle for 10th place....
Webbo Posted 28 February 2016 Posted 28 February 2016 I'll settle for 10th place.... Rincewind is 7th.
separator Posted 28 February 2016 Posted 28 February 2016 The lead singer looks like he's wearing a wig. I know there miming but why go to the effort of having a half arsed backing band consisting of 2 drummers. If you really have to mime then at least get a full band and make it look like your not playing to a backing track.
Finnaldo Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 Think we should sign up next year lads, with some banging 80s-style synthpop track and one-too-many-unbuttoned shirts. The Continentals will love us.
DennisNedry Posted 29 February 2016 Posted 29 February 2016 Do the other countries actually enter their best acts, or is Eurovision a joke in all of the other countries too? If we entered any of our top 20 singers/bands we'd win easily.

No idea why but I absolutely love it, watch it every year and make sure I've got snacks and some beers in.

I've heard, although I'm not sure how true it is, that you can't enter if you're a signed act so the likes of Adele and that couldn't enter.
act smiley Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Do the other countries actually enter their best acts, or is Eurovision a joke in all of the other countries too? If we entered any of our top 20 singers/bands we'd win easily. Depends. Some places love it without the sneering - Sweden for instance - but I don't think anyone ever denies it's cheesy.
ozleicester Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 Its OK, Australia's nomination for EUROvision (yeh WTF is still my response to this) is the winner of one of our never ending talent shows, so, you guys may as well go home now.
