I think this is a must. Imagine singing Dilly Ding Dilly Dong at the next game. It will give the whole team a boost and also make everyone chuckle a little bit inside

I thought a few years back Man City fans wanted to name one end of the then new CIty of Manchester stadium after Colin Bell and it was rejected.

erm thats pretty shit to be honest

Admittedly, I rarely partake in a discussion or post here often. I was reluctant in doing so before and your dismissive response has only furthered strengthened my hesitance. Wow, baptism of fire. Bitten by the m4DD0g, aptly.

I think it should be used pretty simply. The bell means pay attention, if we go a goal behind (not happening a lot at the moment admittedly) or we are not playing that well or coming under pressure. Just sing:

Dilly-dilly-ding.

Dilly-dilly-dong.

Do it like the chant: 'We're the left side [...], we're the right side [...].

Simple is always best for football chants - less to coordinate and learn.

If you want to 'complicate' it then just do.

Dilly-dilly-ding.

Dilly-dilly-dong.

Dilly-dilly-ding.

Dilly-dilly-dong.

Dilly-dilly-ding.

That's our Leicester song!

But still keep the two side, with everyone joining in for the last line.

couldnt you just use the Rockin Robin tune/format? 'Dilly Dilly Ding...Dilly Dilly Ding, Dilly Dilly Dong...Dilly Dilly Dong' and then someone better at this than me could add the verse in....apologies if anyone has said that already, my computer is running at a smails pace and havent read the whole thread....

Hey boys dont get carried away,

Dilly ding dilly dong doesn't work in every situation. I said it to the wife last night in bed and she didnt wake up!

Ah that's the thing though all Dilly Dongs become nil and void when married lol
