bovril Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 First thing I do will be walk into a pub in my Leicester shirt and buy everyone a beer. After that I have no idea, and I doubt I'll remember the next day.
Auckland Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 I really hope Leicester can do it, but the job is not done yet. The final quarter of the season is where, historically, smaller clubs that find themselves in with a shout of the title fall down. These are the games that the big clubs tend to do well in. Their squads are deeper and once they are out of Europe they can fully focus on the remaining domestic games. Don't kid yourselves about how hard this is going to be for Leicester. As a Liverpool fan, I remember the 2013-2014 campaign all too well and the fact that we were long odds-on to win the league with a few games to go. I always felt that our price was too short and that we would be overtaken by teams with better resources towards the end. Sadly, that's how it worked out and a lot of our fans were left looking a bit silly. In the last few games of 2013-2014, Liverpool looked as bad as any other team in the league, even with Suarez playing. When a side hits the wall, it's like they just can't buy a point anywhere. I hope that doesn't sound too negative. We all want to see Leicester do this (apart from Spurs and Arsenal fans). A mountain still needs to be climbed though and it is getting steeper all the time.
Saxondale Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 How many people does it take to get a religion recognised in the census? You know, like that Star Wars thing a few years ago. And the Pastafarian thing. Come the next census I'm definitely putting my religion as Leicester City FC. Or possibly Fundamentalist Ranieri-ite. Surely we'd have enough of us to get it officially recognised. There's gotta be more Ranieri-ites in the UK than, for example, Russian Orthodox. EDIT: As a bonus, we'd surely qualify as a religious minority and get loads of additional legal rights. Under the Equality Act 2010, employers would be forced to employ a percentage of Ranieri-ites.
Bryn Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 I'm gonna watch the first MotD of next season in my underpants.
Jace Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 All these silly kids who have gone on about pitch invasions the last 8 years will finally be shown a good reason for 1
SystonFox Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 All these silly kids who have gone on about pitch invasions the last 8 years will finally be shown a good reason for 1 Winning the championship was fair. Last seasons survival also would've been fair had we secured it on the last day vs QPR. We won't invade vs Everton but I tell you what they should open the stadium and do a big screen for the Chelsea game. I'm away in menorca for the last two weeks of the season, I'll try and catch all the games in local bars etc and if it goes to the last day against Chelsea and we win I've no idea what I'll do. Tears for sure. I'll have my 10 month old son with me, wishing he was slightly older to witness this. It's unreal

stretch1965 Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 In the best interests of my health I will have to go and support another team, can't put myself through this again........
VLC86 Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 I'd fly from London to Thailand and bang a Thai hooker. And we will be eternally grateful again Mr Hopper.

NorthernFox Posted 19 March 2016 Posted 19 March 2016 Think of my Dad who I lost a few years ago who would have loved this season. Then contemplate not watching football again because that is as good as it will ever get, but change of heart because of Champions League.
foxychik Posted 20 March 2016 Posted 20 March 2016 Most likely spend the first few minutes/hours in a daze with it not quite sank in followed by a period of elation most likely fuelled by some kind of alcohol, which may result into a stage of berniesque ramblings and shouting blue army at anyone within range, I doubt I'll be alone in this ......what a thought Leicestershire could have scenes reminiscent of a zombie apocalyptic world with 30000 folks wondering round pissed up wearing smudged face paint shouting arrrrggghhh !!! But after that my office attire will include a city shirt - I might even do full kit w**nker for the week !!!
