billyn88 Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 You may well be right, I'd still make sure I was in their equivalent of the West Stand to be on the safe side though. Yes, standing with the Boixos Nois at the camp nou probably not the best idea. Top tier of the big uncovered stand probably best bet.
GaelicFox Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 The winners of the CL and the top 7 ranked leagues automatically go into Pot 1, regardless of club coefficient. Our club coefficient would matter if we didn't win the league, as we'd go straight into Pot 4. Pot 1 then
Dan Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 It might not be as hard as you think to get tickets, depending on location. Obviously the likes Barca, Real and PSG would sell out instantly, but somewhere like Shakhtar Donetsk, Lech Poznan or Sparta Prague probably wouldn't as the tourists wouldn't fancy it. Ironically, this'd make them better away days. Home end at Barcelona or Real Madrid would be piss easy. I went to Barcelona v Roma this season and there were loads of Roma fans near us, ground not sold out, they were very open about it too, I just don't think it's edgy enough at either of those two grounds.
Bayfox Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Assuming away scheme means I get all 3. That's the plan. However cost and location may mean I have to refine that. But can't wait for the draw. Europe and potentially a community shield already have me buzzing for next season.
ItalianGuyWhoLikesLCFC Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 What pot Would we be in ? Didn't they change the rules ? All the champions in one pot now ? Rules were changed one season ago. Champions of Spain, Germany, England, Italy, France, Portugal, Russia and Ukraine all go in Pot 1, regardless of the ranking. Ranking is considered for Pots 2, 3 and 4. Which means that LCFC can be in Pot 1 if you win the league or in Pot 4 if you don't.
bovril Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 I'll definitely be in all three cities though I am 100% sure I'll be sans ticket, unless I can call in some favours round Europe. Can't wait.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 12 April 2016 Author Posted 12 April 2016 You're jinxing it Stuart, we're going to end up in pissing Lithuania. Ticket or no ticket I'll be there, Russia or Ukraine in December would be wonderful. lol FC Kaunas won't qualify mate Yeh I'm with ya though. I'll be wherever we're playing. Match Day 3 is 5 days after my 30th
Ross-Kemp Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 lol FC Kaunas won't qualify mate Yeh I'm with ya though. I'll be wherever we're playing. Match Day 3 is 5 days after my 30th Good man.Whoever mentioned Lisbon, great shout, it's a lovely place.
kushiro Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 I'd recommend taking a few days off work, going out there early and spending a few days in the city, wherever it is. Go round the local bars, try and talk to people even if you don't know the language. There are always tickets. You'll have the time of your life. In most places you'll probably be treated as a kind of celebrity by locals after what we've done this season. Just go out there with a No Fuchs Given attitude. I don't mean act like an idiot Englishman abroad, I mean don't let fears about the unknown stop you. Treat it as an adventure.
Dan Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 I'm up for even Turkey or Russia, I can just see my parents trying to talk me out of it
LJS Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Istanbul or Moscow would be immense, with or without football. Both on the to do list anyway.
The Railway Man Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Deffo going to all three and hopefully more, not bothered about tickets, would like them in the City end but they arent generally a problem to get in the home end away and you seldom get any aggro. Most away grounds if you just walk around with your home ticket into the away end they'll let you in anyway, must have been 500 more than we were allocated in the stand away at Madrid, could be some crowded away ends next season.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Prague away would be utter carnage. Not one for the sitters or tartan blankets. The scenes.
Guest Bilo Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 I'd worry about Russia away. Tough to get visas, long trip, infamous for Neo-Nazi hooligans and political instability in places. We'd take a few hundred tops, and it'd be a disappointment. Personally hope we avoid Russian clubs.
bovril Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Ludogorets away and I'll be able to get a good haul of tickets in the home end.
BoyJones Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Madrid, Prague and Rome (or Naples) the ideal scenario. Won't tell the missus until I am travelling to the airport each time. Retire this year, timing is everything. Hopefully some of my lads will get the okay from their gruppenfuehrers to keep me company.
ousefox Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Seville would be perfect for me so hope they win the Europa League.

If you arrive by sea and only plan to stay 7w hours or less apparently you don't need visa. Family of mine are going via Sweden later this year. Arriving via ferry. No need for visas.
ScouseFox Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Ludogorets away and I'll be able to get a good haul of tickets in the home end. an bulgaria is sickkkk. and they're shit.
bovril Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 an bulgaria is sickkkk. and they're shit. Would be great. Almost the entire home end was full of Liverpool fans last year. Everyone smoking. Don't think they'll get through qualification though.
ScouseFox Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 haha, they actively encourage you to smoke pretty much everywhere in bulgaria. you on a ski lift? time for a bifter. you having breakfast in a cafe? bifter o'clock. you're in a cab to town? got a smoke there fella? crazy european mo'fukkas.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Yes to at least one, location and timing might rule some out, but I will be there for at least one away day, hopefully all 3. But we'll have seven away games, including the final !!
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 The final's in bloody Cardiff Nice and easy for travel purposes then
IOWFOX Posted 13 April 2016 Posted 13 April 2016 Depending on the draw, I am planning on going to a couple ticketless. Obviously some places it would be a really bad idea, so we will see how the draw goes. Hoping hertha berlin stay 3rd in the bundesliga and we get them in our group. Would fancy a chance of getting a ticket there. They would give us more than we would probably take.
