FantasticMrFox&Son Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Any news regarding memberships and prices for next season ?
Captain... Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Nothing released from the club yet, can anyone remember from last year, for Gold membership was it renewals and then opened to the public, or did silver members have a chance to upgrade to gold before they went on general sale?
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Sod the ticket histroy from when we were sh*t, just roll on up and pay the man. Don't you find it a little odd that to sell a game ticket for more than its face value is a criminal act but to change a fee up front is fine?
FantasticMrFox&Son Posted 26 April 2016 Author Posted 26 April 2016 Just spoke with the Club Sales office, memberships will be on sale after the season ends to allow current memberships chance to upgrade/renew. City membership was a waste of time/money from about November onwards this year.
Culletonfox Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 just had an email receipt for my direct debit £380 in family stand. Same price as last year! haven't received my sons yet
Bayfox Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 just had an email receipt for my direct debit £380 in family stand. Same price as last year! haven't received my sons yet I've had the same, mine but not my girls, just emailed to check, the one thing this auto renew was meant to do was make it easier, but as the ticket office seems to work by it's own strange laws and rules, it actually makes it worse . Sorry to hijack a thread about memberships
Monk Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 I think the club should look at splitting out the legacy and newer silver memberships. I'd like to see it either move to 4 tiers, or for them to limit the size of the silver scheme to what was originally planned. As it stands, silver membership is almost worthless thanks to the club continuing to sell them throughout the season.

FantasticMrFox&Son Posted 26 April 2016 Author Posted 26 April 2016 It would be nice to think that the club has learned a lesson this year and won't repeat the "overselling" of memberships beyond reasonable expectations of getting a ticket for Match-day. If that means Family or Gold memberships only then I'd prefer that, rather than offering memberships that simply take the cash up front with no reasonable return on the payment given.

It depends on how many were sold, I had no problem getting tickets for any game, except Everton and that had nothing to do with the extra Silver members sold. I know some people did have trouble at Swansea, but there would have been increased demand from Corporate, Players allocation, Sponsors and Gold and Family foxes for that game too. We will not see that sort of demand again next season, even if we are going to win the league again, or for the CL games at home, they will be big, but nothing like the Everton game, assuming we have the same allocation for CL and don't have to reduce it. Even then there will be some season ticket holders that won't be able to go to every CL game. If we have under 3000 Silver members I'm ok with that, but legacy Silver foxes should have priority to upgrade to Gold over newer Silver foxes.

It was only an issue in the last 2 home games of a season that will never be repeated, most clubs have tiered membership schemes.
Monk Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 It was only an issue for the last 2 home games because of a surge in memberships. If those newer members are permitted to renew then two things will happen: 1 - bronze will be entirely worthless 2 - for next seasons big games there will be problems getting tickets for silver members. Also bear in mind next season we will likely have bigger sponsorship deals, more media interest so more seats given over to non members. You are right that it is only an issue now but my point is that it will continue to be an issue.

The most fair way would be to allocate the same numbers as last season and sell them on points gained from this season and last seasons memberships.
SemperEadem Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 They really do need to bring the match day ticket price down.
Webbo Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 They really do need to bring the match day ticket price down. Why do they? They're selling out every week.
DB11 Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 The most fair way would be to allocate the same numbers as last season and sell them on points gained from this season and last seasons memberships. Webbo Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Hope we get a chance to renew before they go on general sale. I don't want to miss the charity shield (assuming we win the league touch wood)
jonathan_ross Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 You don't gain any points for attending home fixtures You don't gain any points for attending home fixtures You don't not for home tickets but do for away tickets and memberships from previous seasons.
The Guvnor Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 But seriously is there really any point in renewing your city fox membership
David Hankey Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 What the Club need to do on an urgent basis is increase the capacity of the stadium to say 45K, increase season tickets to 30K, 4.5K for away fans leaving 10.5K for general sale and scrap this Gold/Silver/Bronze membership bollocks. But seriously is there really any point in renewing your city fox membership No!!
RoboFox Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 You guys reckon the Gold Memberships will sell out during the renewals? I didn't get a Gold due to work commitments for the first few months of this season (of course regretting it now!) Now desperate to get one for next season.
SemperEadem Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Why do they? They're selling out every week. Does that make them a good price?
RowlattsFox Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 But seriously is there really any point in renewing your city fox membership I will because that's all I can really get. Won't get any big games or any towards the end, unless we're shit again but should still get a couple of games.
Webbo Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Does that make them a good price? Can't be a bad one or people wouldn't buy them.
SemperEadem Posted 26 April 2016 Posted 26 April 2016 Can't be a bad one or people wouldn't buy them.So we get to a stage of £60 a game and folks buy them, that makes them ok yeah?
