coolcol Posted 27 April 2016 Posted 27 April 2016 It is clear that there are there are hundreds if not thousands of disappointed foxes fans without tickets for the Everton game. I believe that the next best thing is to meet up with fellow, obsessed fans, who like me are probably on the edge of either delirium and need to share it with fellow LCFC addicts. Can I suggest that we meet in a pub near the ground ( eg...The local hero or the Counting house or the Bricklayers arms) to watch the match and share hopefully the greatest moment in our history. At the final whistle we can all make our way down to to the King Power and hopefully be allowed in to celebrate with the team in the stadium. Even if we are not allowed in, I just want to be at the King Power, the mecca of our footballing dreams, to worship at the altar of the potential league champions. WHO'S WITH ME THEN ??

Yep there is a good likelihood there will be thousands of us having the same ideaI'm in
langtonfox Posted 28 April 2016 Posted 28 April 2016 Don't think it would be a good idea if maybe thousands of people rushed in through the gates when they open at the end
SystonFox Posted 28 April 2016 Posted 28 April 2016 Don't think it would be a good idea if maybe thousands of people rushed in through the gates when they open at the end No. A stupid idea. Hopefully the club are wise enough not to open the wide roller doors at full time although what can they do about the away end? If Everton fans want out they want out
Bayfox Posted 28 April 2016 Posted 28 April 2016 No. A stupid idea. Hopefully the club are wise enough not to open the wide roller doors at full time although what can they do about the away end? If Everton fans want out they want out Not that I want to encourage the idea. But I'm pretty sure they have no choice under the regulations that govern football stadia they have to open them before full time.
Ric Flair Posted 28 April 2016 Posted 28 April 2016 I shall be sneaking in away at Chelsea at the end. Allegedly.

I'm on holiday for the everton game but if I was in Leics I would also get down outside the stadium and enjoy the atmosphere pre match post match etc
fazzyfox Posted 28 April 2016 Posted 28 April 2016 If we let the club know which pub it is the owners might look after the tab or supply clappers, wigs, t-shirts, programs, badges, bacon rolls, drum'n bass remix of the post horn gallop, stress relieving masseuses (Swedish, blonde) and some of Birch's charity buckets (for donations, not vomiting).
jockkkk Posted 28 April 2016 Posted 28 April 2016 Hi there, four of us are travelling down to be in the city on the final day. Would appreciate thoughts re pubs that day? Missed out on stadium tickets. It's a real sham that big screens can't go up at the ground. I'd pay to watch there.

Manwell Pablo Posted 28 April 2016 Posted 28 April 2016 Seriously considering heading into the City for the game if the title is up for grabs against Everton, would be some night. No way the ball and chains going to let me go into the city every time we have a game so I'm going all out on this one .

Górnik Leicester Posted 28 April 2016 Posted 28 April 2016 I mentioned to the Mrs about going into town for the last few games a few weeks ago, which I know she wasn't too enamoured about - especially as she works on Saturday mornings, and we have a little one to look after. Then, when West Brom got their point, and I explained that we could win the league at the weekend, she cancelled all plans for all three games, plus the Spurs game on Monday. I think she finally understands how much of a big deal this could be.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 28 April 2016 Posted 28 April 2016 Come on Citeeeeeeeee Up the Foxes Let's get this thing won and partyyyyyyyyy Come onnnnnnnnnnnn
josh_baskin Posted 28 April 2016 Posted 28 April 2016 How about all chipping in and hiring a boat for a party outside the stadium on the soar?!
coolcol Posted 28 April 2016 Author Posted 28 April 2016 Who is arranging it all? I started the thread but there is nothing to be arranged… Can I suggest the counting house pub and if anybody else has a better alternative let's hear them. Or Local Hero… I always get both of these pub names mixed up.
coolcol Posted 28 April 2016 Author Posted 28 April 2016 Big Screen at Viccy Park? That would be perfect and it is also close to the King Power, but nothing forthcoming to date from the council.

coolcol Posted 28 April 2016 Author Posted 28 April 2016 How about the local hero? I just rang both pubs and the counting house has 2 huge screens whereas the Local hero ( opposite Mecca Bingo) has 5 normal size TV screens but no big screen. So for me the Counting house is my preferred choice.
m4DD0gg Posted 28 April 2016 Posted 28 April 2016 Local hero and Counting house are both really poor pubs, get to the soar point or bricklayers arms.
