Cornish Lair Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 This was a good point today, when I expected a Man U win. Come on Chelsea, put Spurs in their place, but I would rather do the business at home against Everton. Will Leicester City be opening the King Power Stadium so fans can watch the Chelsea v Spurs game live on the big screens?
Larry_LCFC Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 I wondered what the bell was Its in that fan video a few pages back aswell.

Don't think they're allowed - Sky contact.

Load of Bollocks from the BPL if you ask me.
katieakita Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 If Spurs can keep their challenge going at Chelsea then fair play to them and that will be a great performance down at the bridge, just cannot see it myself Chelsea will be well up for this. The titles destiny is in our own hands and we with a returning Vardy should have more than enough for Everton. A point at OT against a Utd team fighting for a 4th place finish is a good point, remember experts like Merson expected us to lose
Cornish Lair Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 They're not allowed to. Load of Bollocks from the BPL if you ask me. I could just imagine the atmosphere inside the King Power Stadium if Chelsea win.
Steameh Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Graham Poll says Huth and Felaini should get 3 match bans. If Graham Poll thinks that a cheeky hair tug deserves the same punishment as an elbow to the throat, then he was never competant to referee. I see Van Gaal is all about the rough sex if his interview is anything to go by!
yorksfox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 A great point today, United were well up for it. Ulloa deserves legendary status for his input over the last 3 games, a player with limitations but what a heart- and a cool head, too. A few contentious decisions for the ref, I have no complaints to be honest, other than the fact that the England captain should have been off after his foul on Gray.
promised land Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Anyone hear the bell in the last 10 mins of the match. As soon as I heard it I thought of Ranieri, and the commentator seemed to think it was him too. It was very clear and went on for some time. If it was him he must have been ringing it right by a mic. Dilly ding, dilly dong Chap was ringing it all game, more so during the dilly ding song, first time I've heard it in an away end and outside the ground afterwards.
CheshireFox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Would've taken a draw and that's what I predicted so nothing to be down about. Shame we will miss drinky but we do have others who can step up and he had to take one for the team: If we win the league with that point the man will be a hero! Rooney is and always has been a disgrace and i don't even like him when he plays for England. Cheating little scrote.
WesMorganGod Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 M O R G A N !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WigstonWanderer Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Probably a fair result taking the game as a whole. Thought City had more/better chances though.
WesMorganGod Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 I told you all Morgan would score, I just knew it, everything is going to plan. Next week we will lift the prem trophy as I said on here for months, Everton home game is us lifting the title. God bless Morgan, what a wonderful header today, superb goal. I can't wait for next week when our captain lifts our prem trophy!!!! woooo hooooo
WigstonWanderer Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Chap was ringing it all game, more so during the dilly ding song, first time I've heard it in an away end and outside the ground afterwards. Ah, so wasn't Claudio then. Just seemed to be really appropriate as I heard it towards then end of the game when the lads looked about dead on their feet. M O R G A N !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a guy!!!
foxes_rule1978 Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 M O R G A N !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Captain Morgan... having that Jamaican rum tonight that is for sure, best CB in the league
biggs Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Drinky's second a yellow. Vardy should never have been sent off v West Ham once the hand went on his shoulder to pull him back. At that moment it's a PK Refereeing is so inconsistent
SpacedX Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Chap was ringing it all game, more so during the dilly ding song, first time I've heard it in an away end and outside the ground afterwards. Perhaps John Westwood's finally defected and switched Blue Army... Give him his dues though...he's no Ash Patel.
fazzyfox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Van Gaal describes the Fellaini elbows as "A normal reaction" to having his hair pulled and then confirmed his opinion when challenged about it. Hope no children were watching and that the F.A. were. Hairpulling has never caused fractured eye sockets, broken cheekbones, broken teeth or unconsciousness. Looks like Van Gaal had a few in his time with the state of his "pig that has run into a brick wall" face.
jmono84 Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 If Graham Poll thinks that a cheeky hair tug deserves the same punishment as an elbow to the throat, then he was never competant to referee. I see Van Gaal is all about the rough sex if his interview is anything to go by! Yea a 3 game ban for each of his elbows!! He threw an elbow with his right into Huth's stomach and then left elbow to his throat, then he pulled hair and got another to his face!! They were proper elbows too!! Huth was stupid to react and pull his hair tho but what fellani did was disgusting!
Larry_LCFC Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Van Gaal just comes across as an unhinged lunatic. A foreign Pearson, but shitter.
Thracian Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Anyone doubting our right to be top of the Premiership should have watched this game with Leicester arguably having an even share of the worthwhile chances against United at Old Trafford. i also thought the referee had a basically good game but how Drinky got sent off while Rooney and Fellaini stayed on the field is totally beyond me, It is yet another cast-iron argument for the use of video technology which I can only deduce is not used because the powers that be want to retain control over who wins what because there's no other scenario I can think of to explain their reluctance to use it. It's so strange how not only referees fail to see things but all their helpers as well. What the hell do we pay them for if today's example is the best they can offer?. No, I'm not griping. I didn't really want anyone sent off for anything. I want Leicester to earn the title by their own efforts. But how an otherwise excellent referee sent Drinky off and allows Rooney and Fellaini to stay on the field just stinks. Talk about selective decision making. Where does it all end? Yet again a referee spoils the game. If they can't act fairly and consistently, why the hell do they bother? And as far as Fellaini is concerned I suppose the referee had an attack of blindness. It doesn't need to be. The football authorities could just give the top clubs a six point start each season if they're that desperate to see them cushioned.
Donut Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Said the "ref was brilliant" thread vs Swansea had no credibility. Just shows it didnt, as you get the response towards the ref you get today in a game we dont win. If the referee had been watching the Huth v Fellaini incident, youd see that Huth was first impeding Fellaini. Now obviously, Fellaini has swung an elbow. He will get punished retrospectively, but at the time? not having it. Drinkwater pulled back two players. No complaints. Only half debateable decision might have been Rooney, but the referee didnt influence the result today by any means. And on the subject of the result, it was a great result, and showed fantastic battling qualities.

Maybe they were grabbing each other but huth was assaulted once and nearly twice before he tugged his barnet... Then he came in with another furious elbow!
