Bluetintedspecs Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 First yellow is very very soft compared to incidents in the first half and it's seems like I'm on my own with this opinion but I honestly can't see how the second yellow is a foul in anyway whatsoever I see it differently pal but not arguing as it changes nothing!
Vietnamfox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Not all, he got the drinky one correct. We should have a penalty and Rooney should be off We've won the league. Chelsea will get a draw or win tomorrow Hope so!
ARM1968 Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 After first 15 generally played well and could of won it. Thought everyone played well. Drinky bit unlucky with first yellow but lucky not to give away a pen. Ulloa worked his socks off. Kante dismond as usual. Back four and Kasper immense. Thought it would be a hard fought draw. Over to Tottenham. Let's see what they can do tomorrow.
STUHILL Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Ulloa was fantastic. Battled for everything and was absolutely knackered at the end. Thought 1-1 was about fair even though I thought we could end up losing 4-0 after the first 15mins but by the end, we looked more likely winners and were fantastic to a man So proud of the team to go to Old Trafford and battle like they did against a very dangerous Man U side. I think with Vardy we would have won, just because we missed that out ball to him. Hopefully Chelsea do us a favour tomorrow and Everton can be 90 mins of celebration. Only 3 losses still. Staggering. On a side note, if Drinky gets extension for mouthing to ref too then Claudio needs to have a word with his players because they should know not to be doing it after Vardy. Silly. Don't think ref will report it though
catfordfox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 On a side note, and would love an answer to this - first half, Claudio was without spectacles. second half, the frames were in place. What's going on here? Raining in the first half wasn't it? Easier to see in rain w contacts. We generally play crap without the glasses tho I've noticed!
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 An excellent performance to come back after a very shaky nervous start and going a goal behind. The real positive other than the fact that we showed such character, and again didn't lose, at a difficult place is that Spurs now must win all three whereas had we lost then possibly two wins and a draw might pipped us. The downside - other than not winning! - was DD's dismissal. Thought Oliver was OK to be honest although he has had better games this season and did make mistakes. Lingaard could have got a yellow for simulation tbh. If he thought Drinky fouled for that second card then it was a penalty. I thought it was a tad harsh but there we go. Hopefully he didn't say too much after it to the ref? Huth should not have pulled Fellaini's hair but Fellaini is a twat and his elbow was quite typical. I think we will be celebrating tomorrow night but if not the character shown today shows we will do it! The supporters sounded great on the box.
Countryfox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Ulloa worked his arse off today. He was running on fumes at the end. Absolute hero, and I've always been one to point out his limitations as a footballer. He's a big bloke and as you say gives it all he's got. He's really stepped up to the plate in JV's absence.
David Hankey Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Superb result this afternoon although we all would have preferred a win. Shame Drinkwater got a red after two silly yellows.
Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 On a side note, and would love an answer to this - first half, Claudio was without spectacles. second half, the frames were in place. What's going on here? Raining heavily first half so would have struggled to see I suspect?
Bluetintedspecs Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Great result, really. A point from Old Trafford when MU needed to win is not to be sniffed at. And it means Spurs cannot slip up at all in 3 games. Shame to lose DD, but I'm sure King or Amartey won't let us down. Chelsea will be desperate to stop Spurs winning tomorrow night. Could we be champs by Tuesday? Brilliant result and been calling Draw and Spuds slipping at Bridge all week bud..... it's written in the stars that the Champions confirm it for the New Champions of England.
jammie82uk Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 I see it differently pal but not arguing as it changes nothing! Wasn't trying to argue about it just stating my opinion on it but Yeah your right it changes nothing
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 First yellow is very very soft compared to incidents in the first half and it's seems like I'm on my own with this opinion but I honestly can't see how the second yellow is a foul in anyway whatsoeverThisAwful decisions by another big club home banker of a ref Shame because from what I saw it would of been an excellent game otherwise Oh well onwards and upwards Come on Leicester Up the Foxes
jammie82uk Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 The ref would then have to explain why after booking Wayne Rooney he was happy for Rooney to tell him to fvck off. Unfortunately it doesn't work like that
TheSomersetFox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Double standards referee Fellaini and Rooney should of walked for Man U Drinks 2 fouls as soft as you will ever see Mahrez foul was a penalty Shocking refereeing all over the pitch The establishment don't want us to win it Cheats cheats cheat fvcking hell. Why didn't he send off Simpson and disallow Morgan's goal then?
Great Boos Up Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 On a side note, and would love an answer to this - first half, Claudio was without spectacles. second half, the frames were in place. What's going on here? Good eyes! I then genuinely think he forgot them. Haha, gotta love the Don
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 fvcking hell. Why didn't he send off Simpson and disallow Morgan's goal then?He had a bad game chiefGenuinely a bad game as a ref I normally expect better of
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Good eyes! I then genuinely think he forgot them. Haha, gotta love the Don I don't think it's the first time he's done this... I'm intrigued by the rain / contacts theory - although I wear contacts myself and if they're in and comfortable I wouldn't switch to glasses!
alank Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 You'll be champions tomorrow night. That was a massive point. Blackburn fan
jammie82uk Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 He had a bad game chief Genuinely a bad game as a ref I normally expect better of Agreed, it does make me wonder sometimes why in games you can get a completely different approach from a ref in the second half compared to the first
limeydale Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 And still some fkn moan .....incredulous! Been calling draw today and confirmed champions by 10.00 tomorrow evening all week, and still think that will happen. Great team performance and result today, not long to wait now boys and girls Feel sorry for Drinky but sadly he gave ref no choice. Come on Chelsea tomorrow night, get the result that confirms the best team in the Premier League Champions of England. I've come to the conclusion it's their way of life and this is their anthem.
katieakita Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Unfortunately it doesn't work like that Yes it does, Rooney should have had 3 yellow cards in the game, the one he got, the pull back on Grey and the wiping out of Ulloa in the first half. For whatever reason England have Rooney as Captain, there is no way the FA will look into DD and his red card and not look into the conduct of Rooney only side show Bob will have a call from the FA
Larry_LCFC Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 It's a tricky one but I think I'd rather DD hadn't made that challenge and we'd lost the match than losing him for next week. He's been so crucial for us. A draw is neither here or there really. Granted it's extra pressure for Spurs. If it's not done tomorrow, we'll wrap it up Saturday.
TheSomersetFox Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 He had a bad game chief Genuinely a bad game as a ref I normally expect better of Absolutely no need to shout cheat and conspiracy though mate, let's take a leaf out of Claudio's book and show a bit of class.
WigstonWanderer Posted 1 May 2016 Posted 1 May 2016 Anyone hear the bell in the last 10 mins of the match. As soon as I heard it I thought of Ranieri, and the commentator seemed to think it was him too. It was very clear and went on for some time. If it was him he must have been ringing it right by a mic. Dilly ding, dilly dong
