I'm hearing that people are calling this the greatest in sporting history? wtf. When you win the Anglo-Italian cup, come back and spout that you have won the biggest trophy there is to win. Notts County fc = most successful European club in the Midlands

I'm guessing it was between a couple of clubs from England and Italy and did not involve the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich Ajax to name a few. Without those the competition diminishes somewhat. I'm not even sure you are a Notts County fan. I suspect a Forest fan attempting to belittle your local neighbours and give them a bad image as well as trolling this forum.

Draw 1 point win 2 and a point for each goal. Offside virtually was non existent. The big names from England included Sunderland Middlesbrough and Blackpool.. And it was more famous for the violence than the quality of the football. More info here.

More info here. glad you brought the violence bit up as I'm not proud to say it but ever since then we have been known as the ' millwall of the midlands' .

Nothing else to be cheerful about since. You mentioned the cup you won. Someone was sure to remember it or look it up.

Just don't understand why you are all hating my club, still bitter we beat you 4-1 in 1994 is my guess

Shame no one has heard of your trophy...probably has the same worth as the SPL? This is the now, and we are LCFC Champions of England! Not sure Notts County have ever been champions of anywhere...good luck to you either way and thanks for the kind words before you decided to get all salty
