Fearless foxes at Leicester Museum

Occasionally the success of a football team inspires a whole community, rarely does it capture the imagination of a world. Until now!

Following Leicester City’s remarkable 2015/16 Barclays Premier League season, which saw the Club claim the Premier League title for the first time in their 132-year history, New Walk Museum and Art Gallery are introducing a new exhibition which opens at 11am on Saturday(4 June).
The Fearless Foxes exhibition retraces Leicester City’s journey month-by-month during the 2015/16 season, while exploring how the success of the Club helped bring Leicester together and brought the world to the City.

Accompanying the exhibition will be a programme of football themed events throughout the summer for all the family.
Visit New Walk Museum and Art Gallery from 11am Saturday 4 June, celebrate the remarkable moment in the Club’s history and share your own thoughts, with the Fearless Foxes exhibition.

Like I've said before, build a museum on Filbert Street and stick stuff like this in there forever. It doesn't even have to be big.

Filbert Street, for all the memories it holds, is a mess now. There's no acknowledgement that we ever even played there. Other grounds have plaques we haven't even got that.

Agree, I think it would be nice to have something to recognise we were once at Filbert Street, as like you said we have some real good memories there. Not sure what the current Filbo site is doing, but a signpost/plague on the former home of the club would be a good start.

I went to the launch today. Great exhibition based on this season. Well worth a visit. Walshy, Elliott and the Birch spoke. Nice to chat to the Birch about this season and the Vardy situation. I would post what he said but I cannot post in the transfers section? Because I'm a wind up merchant? Mods please?

And I've just noticed there is a thread on this already! My mistake!

Birch said he didn't think he would go. He said it was the press / media making a huge fuss about it. Just like the mega attention it is getting on here and the huge over reaction.

People need to realise that much of the material written on the internet is made up bollocks. It is created to generate interest, increase the number of website hits, increase the number of followers etc. Personally I would hang on very very little info that is out there.
