Babylon Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Ahhhh the old "here's the leaked fixtures"... Turns out to be bullshit for the 15th year running thread.
Rincewind Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 I would think there are programmes that set up the fixtures. They FA would not go through each game. If the FA can do it some bright spark with computer programming knowledge could. Saw this on Facebook and shared it at gone 2am. Never considered it a fake until now. It says the fixtures are given to the clubs first. Maybe for them to approve first.
Staffs Fox Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Highly doubt we'll be at home the first game again, Three years in a row is very rare, It does make you think where these documents come from though
David Hankey Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 What is the point of this post when it is clearly hype and nothing else. Why can't folk wait for the OFFICIAL release?!!

Jimothy Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 tells you who you might play next season. I'm pretty sure we'll definitely play them all at some point next season. Maybe even twice, once home, once away.
StanSP Posted 6 June 2016 Author Posted 6 June 2016 I'm pretty sure we'll definitely play them all at some point next season. Maybe even twice, once home, once away. you sound like my kind of guy @@Facecloth. totally agree.
Fox92 Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Delete thread. "Leaks" always happen and they are never real. Don't get why anybody would want to know anyway - the pure excitement fixture release date brings is unbelievable, I still love it to this day. PL just released a statement anyway.
StanSP Posted 6 June 2016 Author Posted 6 June 2016 to be fair, I did say 'could all be a load of crap' in the first post . Didn't say these fixtures were gospel but I can 100% guarantee we will play all teams twice, home and away as @@Facecloth alluded to.
bluebeau Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 It's just be on Sky Sports News that the F.A. have said that this is not a copy of the official fixtures list & that will be released next Wednesday.
Hitesh Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Well they're not exactly going to come out and say they are the real fixtures so a nothing statement from the FA and PL! They will want to save face if it is a leak. They'll no doubt make some revisions to this as all clubs get a list well in advance so they can challenge or make special requests. Therefore there will be various versions of these flying around with this one being leaked...
promised land Posted 6 June 2016 Posted 6 June 2016 Well they're not exactly going to come out and say they are the real fixtures so a nothing statement from the FA and PL! Therefore there will be various versions of these flying around with this one being leaked...They can't just make revisions IF that was the official list as all fixtures are set with many algorithms, West Ham can't play at home when Ipswich do because Colchester use Ipswich stewards which alters something in London that I can't remember. Anyway you get the idea, all fixtures are meticulously sorted before they're released, there's an article somewhere from a few years ago showing you how the bloke who sorts it all out does it. But I highly doubt that list was official anyway. Found it http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/paulfletcher/2009/06/secrets_of_the_fixture_compute.html I was nearly right with my sentence.
