Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Dier, Kane, walker. Apart from that, I genuinely don't see any of them getting in our side. Maybe Alli too
Guest LCFC_World Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Would rather have Drinkwater than Dier, and would rather have Okazaki than Kane. Vardy - that's it. We won the league.
MPH Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Rather okazaki than kane lol for the style we play, Kane wouldn't be very effective
Ian S Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Rather okazaki than kane lol Based on present form rather Elvis Hammond than Kane.
BenTheFox Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Based on present form rather Elvis Hammond than Kane. Jesus...
Dodgy Bob Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Hart - no, way too error prone Walker - no, he's a poor defender and unlike England we don't need our full backs to be an attacking outlet Centre backs - no chance Rose - no Fuchs is much better Dier - no Kante is much better Alli - no Drinkwater is better Rooney - no place for him our system, Drinkwater is better Sterling - Sturridge - if not injured he has potential but right now I'd prefer Vardy Kane - not as good as Vardy as a striker and all round play wouldn't complement our team, so no Lallana - Mahrez is much better, Gray is a better prospect, Albrighton is on the same level Wilshere - Drinkwater is much better Who else? Barkley - no Henderson - Rashford - undecided, I'm personally not convinced he's that good yet
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Hart...rather have Kasper Walker...I'd rather have Simpson (better defender) Cahill...rather have Wes Smalling...rather have Huth Lallana...rather have Mahrez Wilshere...rather have Drinky Dier...MUCH rather have Kante Sterling...rather have Albrighton..at least he can cross Rose...rather have Fuchs Vardy would remain I'd even rather have Shinji than Sturridge (much better work rate) In fact, the only player in that squad I'd really like to see at City is young Washford. He's got summat about him. The rest are an overpaid bunch of fookin mediocrity.. Rooney..don't even get me started.
themightyfin Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Jesus... Arsenal have actived the release clause for Jesus I'm told
Danno Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Yeah, having a strike force that has scored a combined 50 goals this season would be shit, at least Okazaki would run around a bit more though.
Dodgy Bob Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Yeah, having a strike force that has scored a combined 50 goals this season would be shit, at least Okazaki would run around a bit more though. Kane would want to play as an out and out striker so if we played him and Vardy together we would miss Okazaki's endeavour in the attacking midfield position. You don't need two goalscoring strikers to be successful, as last season proved beyond doubt. What you do need are strong team players, and Kane isn't one.
Detroit Blues Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Sterling might actually be decent with our counter-attacking style. Since we set back deep, there would be a lot of space for him to run down the channels. But I wouldn't drop Albrighton or Mahrez given how well they played last season.
NotTheMarketLeader Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Eric Dier is easily England's best midfielder.Did you not see him last night? He walked around most of the game and was totally abject.
AyewJoking Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 all of them. lets not forget, once you get these flops in a premier league match they turn into world beaters. Did you not see him last night? He walked around most of the game and was totally abject.Did you not see him last night? He walked around most of the game and was totally abject. = englands best midfielder

BenTheFox Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Did you not see him last night? He walked around most of the game and was totally abject. I'm not basing my opinion on a player on one game. Other than the first half last night, he was easily England's best player this tournament. He wins the ball back, he has a good range of passing and he reads the game well. Who's a better English midfielder?
Koke Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Walker, Dier, Alli, Kane. Basically I'd take all the Tottenham lads except for Rose. Formation would have to be slightly tweaked but we could make it work.
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Did you not see him last night? He walked around most of the game and was totally abject. Spot on. Last night he was useless. And I mean useless. I think he's very over rated personally. Kante is a much better ball winning CM and quicker at getting forward. I'd take Drinkwater over Dier.
PhilFox1948 Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 I cannot understand how England could build a side around a nucleus of Spurs player: They surrendered the The Europa Cup. Not capable of beating WBrom with a goal start. Not capable of beating Chelsea with two goal start and totally lacked discipline or resolve. Concede 5 goals without care in the World to team that hardly scored all season. They were a spent force from late April. From chasing PL to finishing 3rd(nobody remembers 3rd place). Completely destroyed mentally and emotionally. Nice feet but flatters to deceive.
