Bert Posted 6 July 2016 Posted 6 July 2016 Fair play to the Welsh. Done themselves proud and got further than most expected. Obviously I'm glad that they're out and a little bit gutted for Kingy. Think I'd have a bit more sympathy if a lot of them weren't English but still, fair play to them all as a collective.

Portugal are not a brilliant team. I wonder if Wales may well regret, albeit slightly, the fact that they didn't really go for it tonight, especially in that first half. Coleman seemed to set up like he did against England and will perhaps be sorry that he went out to not lose, rather than to win. If Wales played with the same passion and commitment as they did against Belgium, the outlook could have been different. That said, Ramsay was a major miss. Wales midfield tonight was piss poor, King included.

It's not been absolutely amazing and it was a slow starter, but it's certainly not been shite. Wales getting as far as they did. Iceland Italy and Germany's penalties Hungary's 3-3 draw with Portugal Italy's brilliance against Spain Irish fans Swedish girls! Oh, and worth mentioning again, Iceland.
